"Sow Your Game and Reap Your Joy"

Welcome to the very first Beansprout Jam by Toge Productions!

This is a special one-week game jam event organized especially for our Discord community. It's pretty low-key so there's no competition element. The main focus is making wholesome games with other members and making new connections!

• Nov 21st, 2020 (10 AM GMT+7) | Nov 21st, 2020 (5 AM CEST) | Nov 20th, 2020 (7 PM Pacific Time)

End date

• Nov 30rd, 2020 (10 AM GMT+7) | Nov 30th, 2020 (5 AM CEST) | Nov 29th, 2020 (7 PM Pacific Time)

You are most likely to get curious about the theme, right?

When the jam is about to start, we will announce the theme to you.

If you are in this page right now, you surely have got the link from our Discord server. So here's how you participate:

• Anyone, we say again, ANYONE can join of any skill level as long as you're a member of the Beansprout Jam Discord server. 
• Get yourself a “Beansprout Jam” role in our #pick-a-role channel to get access to the game jam channels, including ones that will help you find a team.
• You can go solo or join teams of max 6 people.
• You can press the "Join jam" button above to let us know you're interested in joining, but it's not mandatory. 
• Every team must be registered through our Google form that can be found on our Discord #jam-rules channel.

When it's done, don't forget to submit!

You can submit your game until the deadline stated on this jam page. You can read more about the itch.io submission process here:

If you want your game to be included on our submissions page, please meet the following requirements:

• All team members are part of the Toge Productions Discord server.
• You have registered your team through our Google form.
• Your game/team meets our jam and community guidelines

Once the game jam has ended, we'll share the collections on our social media. You can also post the link to your game submission in our #jam-showcase channel!

Last but not least, the rules and guidelines!

• Your game must be made within the time frame. No need to utilize the full 1 week.
• This is a community only event for fun with no competition elements.
• Please follow the server rules stated in our #server-rules channel.
• You can use any engine you want.
• Updates are allowed after the game has been submitted.
• No NSFW content, offensive content, excessive gore/violence. No harassment of any kind.
• If you are using third-party assets, make sure you have permission and/or credit the creator.
• Credit must also be given on the #jam-showcase page to every team member.
• We encourage you to check out the other submissions and leave a comment or feedback.
