Overview

Welcome to The UN-Baldithon, a Baldi's Basics mod jam hosted by Harold the Water Dropper and assisted by TheTopHattedStickman. In this jam you must create an original mod within the timeframe given so long as you follow all the following guidelines.

Theme/Guidelines

Hence the name of this jam, you must create a mod where Baldi is replaced or just missing! Create an original character to replace his visual/audio files. You can whatever else you want with your mod  besides that.

Here are some things to keep in mind for your jam submission:

• You can pick to do a: Regular texture/sound changing mod, coding change mod, decompile mod or just entirely new fangame. Be sure to keep it based off Baldi.
• Below is a download link for some jam art I've created! Be sure to put the main logo in the credits of your mod so it's marked as an UN-Baldi Jam submission.
• Please put EFFORT into your mods. Joke mods are accepted (in the style of Baldi Loves Chips, for example) but make sure there's unique elements so the mod doesn't feel stale.
• No adding swearing, NSWF, disturbing content or mocking/trashing other people's mods to your submission.
• Baldi reminds everyone to have fun!

Criteria

• Utilization of Theme: This category is weighed on whether the submission includes a completely original character that replaces Baldi's visuals/sounds. 
• Visuals: This category is weighed on the characters as well as the overall quality and aesthetics for all the new sprites and graphics put in the game.
• Sounds: This category is weighed on the overall quality and aesthetics for all the new music and sounds put in the game.
• Gameplay: This category is weighed on the code changes and features added that overall hinder the Baldi experience. Sometimes, well made sprites and sounds help make the gameplay feel different even without coding!

Rewards

• 3rd place or higher allows you to win an original 3D model I created to use in Anim8or! 

• 2nd place or higher allows you to play an early access of The Aftermath, the sequel to The Infection I'm releasing in February! You will also win the 3D model.

• 1st place allows you to get a cameo appearance of your Baldi replacement character from your submission somewhere in The Aftermath! You will also win the Aftermath early access and 3D model.

You don't want to know what this thing will do without being in the jam...

Timeline

All submissions are due by Friday, January 29th at 5:00 P.M. 

The judges will then vote and announce the results by Saturday, January 30th at 8:00 P.M.
