This is a game jam for a group of devs known as Backburner Games. If you happen to find this and aren't a part of it, feel free to throw a game in anyways and reach out. The more the merrier!

Any and all engines are allowed to be used, as well as free assets you find for said engine. However, spending money on making the game is off limits. Teams will be allowed, or you can work solo if you prefer. The theme of the game will be based around the word Light. You can interpret that however you wish, but the core of the game must involve that word in some sort of fashion.

Because this is probably all of our first ever game jams, there's no pressure in how well of a job you did. Just use this week to practice, experiment, and have fun with it. Try a genre you've never done before, use an engine you're not familiar with or would like to learn. It doesn't matter, just that you learn something as a result!
