What is B1T Jam?

B1T Jam is a 10-day-long game development jam where you make a game using only 2 colors.

Theme:

the theme is

It could represent electric shocks, sudden surprises, unexpected twists, emotional impact, or anything that startles the player. Maybe your character gets shocked by dangerous objects, maybe the gameplay revolves around electricity, or maybe the shock comes from a surprising story moment.

don't be shocked, but the theme is open for interpretation. whatever game you decide to work on just remember to have fun, because the real winners are the friends we made along the way.

Rules/Guidelines:

your game needs to be made during the jam period. if you're using premade assets you need to clearly credit it in your game page.	any use of AI needs to be stated both in your game page and in-game.
you can only use any 2 colors, modifying alpha or transparency is not allowed if it produces a new color. Only 2 visible colors on screen are allowed.	no manipulating votes (spam rating, rating everyone else a much lower score, creating extra accounts, etc)
web builds are optional, but are required for you to be qualified for 'judges pick'. you can have your game available on as many platforms as you like.	you're not allowed to update your game or link a new update during the voting period... without permission from the host.

Voting Criteria:

•  Theme: how well the theme is implemented.
•  Gameplay: core mechanics and interactions that define what the player does in the game and how the game responds.
•  Art: how the game looks visually.
•  Audio: how the game sounds.
•  Polish: small improvements and finishing touches that make a game feel smooth, professional, and satisfying to play.

• A special role will be given to the winners on the discord server • highlighted on the jam front page, and will be included in a video showcasing all the best games on the jam
