Welcome, everyone, to the first ever Axxess Game Jam!

In this jam, you have until the end of the year to make a game that fits a specific theme. After submissions close, there will be a one week voting period to vote on submissions. Of course, anyone can vote, not just submitters.

Game Jams are all about learning and having fun, and anyone can participate whether you are an experienced game developer, or a beginner.

The theme of the jam this year is: 

The theme can be interpreted in any way, gameplay or storywise. Let your imagination run wild.

The game's rating should be judged by originality, how well it fit the theme, Art and audio, and gameplay. It's ok if your game doesn't do well in all of these aspects, after all, this game jam is supposed to be a learning experience. Winners won't get a prize or anything, it's just for fun.

1. Be nice to others, being mean is, as those teens say, "not hip bruh".

2. No NSFW content or anything that could be deemed as offensive.

3. Keep things appropriate as this game jam is intended for all audiences.

4. Your are allowed to use any game engine or framework as well as any assets that you have the legal right to use.

5. The game MUST be made during the duration of the jam, but you are allowed to use prewritten code.

6. Teaming up is allowed and very much supported. You can find teammates in the community tab of the jam.

7. As a follow up to number 5, you are allowed to use sites such as Scratch or Tynker to make a game, just put the link in the submission page.

8. No card games (physical) or any games that ONLY require downloads to play are allowed, although you may add downloads, they should not be the only way to play. But, if you really want to, then you are allowed to have downloads only (but we would not recommend it).

9. All games should be playable on a Mac, but other devices can and should be supported as well.

10. Any game submitted can be featured in a video made by somebody, without the creator's consent.

11. Your games must be free.
