Avalanche GameLoop isn't just another jam; it's a community built to empower game developers with recurring events, promotions, and opportunities. 

SEASON 1 THEME: HIGH SCORE!
Make a browser game where players compete for a HIGH SCORE! It can be a new idea or something you've already been tinkering with. 

HIGH SCORE TOURNAMENT - FUNTICO.COM
Instead of building in a vacuum, your game will be featured in a global tournament on Funtico.com. This means a real audience will be incentivized to play your game with thousands of dollars in prizes! Getting you real-world feedback from day one! We'll mirror submissions straight from itch.io or the link you submit and guide you along the way, so migration will be quick and easy.

WHY JOIN?
• Supportive Bootcamp before the jam to polish ideas and find teammates
• $30,000 total prize pool (developer + player rewards)

Rules
• Game must run in a desktop browser.
• Must include a score system that tally's up the player’s final score.
• Teams of any size are welcome.
• Pre-existing code/assets allowed if you have the rights.
• Have fun and help others in the Discord.
• Submissions will be asked to share what they built during the jam.
• Any playable link submitted to the LaunchLoop team will be considered a submission.

 - Workshops, idea pitching, team matchmaking
Game Jam: 08 Sep – 06 Oct
 - Build or polish your game, submit by deadline
Migration: 08 Oct – 29 Oct
 - Select builds for the tournament and migrate games to tournament platform on Funtico.com 
Live Tournament: 29 Oct – 12 Nov
 - Players worldwide chase high scores for cash
Results: 12 Nov
 - Tournament champs announced
