Judging factors will be graphics, gameplay, wit/uniqueness, and "je ne sais quoi", a cute French expression that means "that indefinable something." There are some games that are just good, and there's no way to judge that sometimes.

This game jam is all about the antique, ancient, historic, vintage, retro, or even slightly dated. When submissions end on Nov. 27th 2025, there will be a week to vote for your favorite selections.

Making a new game for the jam is encouraged, but not necessary. Time constraints are not fun, so feel free to submit an game that you've already published. Try to keep submission numbers minimal though, even if you have made a lot of games that fit the theme.

Special appreciation for older wit or plays on phrases or jokes. Anyone has and good Shakespearian insults this is the place for them.

THERE WILL BE ABSLUTELY NO TOLERANCE FOR GRAPHIC ADULT CONTENT!! Keep your submissions PG-13.

If possible, games should be formatted as a Mac universal/64 bit .app file, HTML play-in-browser, or Windows exe. Doesn't really matter, but those are the formats I can readily use. I intend to play all jam submissions.
