Let's see. Your task is to create a game with as many free / bought (please do free, don't spend any money on this), as possible. The expectation for a good entry is 99+% flipped assets with one or two core, or unique mechanics custom. This will hardly be optional, as the deadline is 48 hours.

There is no theme as such. Having to make a game in this short of a time, is a challange enough in itself.

    1. The time. Projects that clearly have more time invested in them, will be simply disqualified.

    2. Every asset be that  visual, sound or code, created with AI will be judged as flipped. Try to keep this at the absolute minimum.

    3. Flipped assets must be credited and AI created assets must be disclosed in the project's description.

    4. Teams are welcome. Max 5 members in each team.

    5. This jam is an opportunity for you to test an idea, or simply break down a genre to it's bare essentials.

YES! There will be TWO winners. The winners will be determined by a panel of judges. Each winning team will get a 8.5 EUR PayPal transfer or other low cost transfer. Total prize pool is 17 EUR.

We will do our gosh darn best to transfer your winnings. Due to some restrictions, geopolitical issues or any other vis maior, it is possible that we can not do it. At the time of creating this jam (2026. January 14th) there are no such  circumstance known to us.

-Everything in the world is subjective. That being said, we have preexisting ideas on what we are looking for:
- A top submission has as little bespoke work as possible in volume (lines of code, count of assets, total hours invested), but as large as possible in effect.
- A top submission is fun to play, has mechanics that feel good, is a game that feels complete within its scope.
- A top submission is not necessarily content heavy, but has enough playable content that it can demonstrate its features to a player.
- Is reasonably optimized as a software product.
- Is a game with real mechanics, and it not a walking simulator or visual novel (I love both, but I think they are a bad fit for this jam).
- Has some spice (has a twist on a mechanic, or is a novel idea)
- Has minimal documentation (basically the controls, and basic rules), but has a list of bespoke assets, and a sentence or two on why the team thought these were the best picks.
