Assignment Details

Controller

Prototype a unique and functional controller. Show multiple iterations to demonstrate problem-solving and improvement.

Game

Create an original gaming experience that works with your controller.

Elevate starter templates—don’t just use them as-is. Add new gameplay twists or your own spin.

Video

Produce a video showcasing your Alt Ctrl submission. Include gameplay, controller explanation, and credits. (We can do videos the first day we get back from break)

Contribution

Every team member must actively contribute and show an improved product each week.

Extra Credit?

Any group that is invited to showcase at GDC will receive automatic 100% on the assignment, as long as groups are invited before final grades are submitted.
