Welcome to the Alone Clone Creativity Quest, a one-week intense game development challenge. Submissions will be showcased and evaluated by our judges.
Theme Will Be Revealed When Jam Starts.
- Theme Reveal: The theme will be announced at the start of the jam. All games must incorporate this theme.
- Originality and AI Restriction: Entries must be original works created during the jam period. Using AI-generated code, graphics, or other content is not permitted. Inspiration from existing games is encouraged, but direct copying is prohibited.
- Submission Deadline: All game submissions must be uploaded to the designated platform before the end of the 7-day period.
- Game Platforms: Games can be developed for any platform (PC, mobile, web, etc.), but must be easily accessible for judging.
- Assets Use: Use of pre-made assets is allowed, but must be properly licensed and credited. Major assets should be created during the jam.
- Content Guidelines: Games must not contain offensive or inappropriate content. Keep it respectful and inclusive.
- Judging Criteria: Games will be judged based on creativity, adherence to the theme, gameplay, and overall presentation.
- Prize: The winner will receive a $500 prize.
What engine? Any engine is fine, as long as the game is playable on Windows.
What assets can I use? We strongly encourage you to make new assets for the jam, but any assets you have the rights to use and that don't break the rules are fine (e.g. asset store).
How's judging work? Judging in the "Alone Clone Creativity Quest" involves a panel of experts reviewing submissions based on criteria like creativity, theme adherence, gameplay, and presentation.
How many winners? There will be one grand champion, and multiple judge's choice category award winners.
- Grand prize submission team will receive $500.
- Judge's choice category award winners will receive certificates of their accomplishments.
