Content

• Don't Plagiarize: Having some pre-built general purpose code is okay but make sure to credit content used in your project that wasn't created by your team.
• New Projects Only: You should be creating a brand new project for this jam. However, you are allowed to reference generic assets or code from a previous project but overall, you should feel like you are creating something new.
• AI Use: Use of AI is permitted for this jam. We want to see the potential of our participant's creative expression unhindered by technical or skill barriers. However, AI should only be used as a tool to facilitate your own, original ideas. Use your best judgement, but ultimately you should feel like your game is a product of your own ideas and not the ideas of a large language model.

Teams

• No Limit on Team Sizes: You may work in teams of any size, however, we recommend that your team does not exceed 5.

Scoring

• Your submission will be scored by our judges according to the following criteria:
  • Theme (fidelity to, or creative interpretation of)
  • Engagement (is it holding attention, is it fun, does it respect the player)
  • Completeness (does it feel like a finished product)

Q&A

• Where can I find teammates?
  • Join our discord! We have a channel for finding teammates. We recommend finding your team before the start of the jam so you can hit the ground running. However, we will help faciliate the formation of groups during our kickoff as well.
• Will the jam be remote or in person?
  • All events including the kickoff and showcase will be held in-person but will also livestreamed for those participating remotely.
• I have more questions!
  • You can message any of our admins in the discord channel with anything else you need clarification on.
