Now you must throw in with your chosen admin by creating submissions detailing these individual battles. Submissions will be joining the war for domination of administration in the Discord, either for Viteri or for Von.
Your submission will contain a battle where the player takes control of Viteri's faction or Von's faction and fights the other to the death. The canonical winner, mechanics, and so forth is up to you, but the basic premise must remain intact.
Submissions are open from August through September. If there are seven or more projects submitted, we will conduct community voting to eliminate the selection. 7-12 submissions will cause a community vote every week in October, which will eliminate the project(s) until there are three. 13+ submissions will cause a community vote that eliminates projects until there are five.
Submissions end September 31st at midnight.
This is mostly for fun, so voting is dependent upon which project you like the best and is the most fun to play. Votes will be conducted by people assigning 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 points as they wish. Projects with the fewest points are eliminated; if there's a tie for last place, they both vanish, unless there will not be enough projects to conduct the vote normally. For example, if there are only four projects left and the last two tie for last, but we only have eight projects submitted, we will judge the four. Any project that receives no points at all is eliminated in addition to the project with the fewest points.
In terms of the final Vote, the vote is much simpler; we pick the one we like, from the choices available to us. Some of the possible criteria depend on writing, gameplay, and creativity of goals, but you might also win purely on the strength of your memes.
What's a contest with no prize? The prize for a judge's final vote is a game gifted on Steam of the winner's choice, with up to a $70 price tag. There are two judges, ergo there are two prizes. But you could win both. Just kidding. Unless...?
1. Your submission must be in SRPG Studio. It's sort of a given.
2. The content of your submission must be legal for the server's channels. That is, do not be excessively bothersome, do not post shock content, and do not use NSFW content.
3. Do not steal assets; music, artwork, tilesets, whatever. Use anything you have the right to, but do not use anything else.
4. There is no strict time limit on your submission. However, if it goes on longer than two hours and the community decides not to eliminate it for some eldritch reason - say, they have a convoluted plot to drive me insane - I reserve the right to not finish it.
