THE THEME IS ZOOM

Rules 

1. Submit your game by 6PM on Saturday. This submission can be in any format (executable, racket file, github repository, HTML5). 
2.  Your game must be playable by the judges. The easiest way to do this is to just hand them your laptop. The coolest way to do it is to submit a web export of your game (budget at least an hour for this).
3. Reusing existing code and assets is allowed to an extent:
   1. No re-skinning of games made outside of the jam
   2. A majority of the code and/or assets should be made in the jam's time frame by your team
   3. Disclose any use of AI generation
4. Your game must not contain any content that breaks UD rules. Your game may not contain nudity, hateful language/visuals, excessive strong language or gore. 
5. There is no team size limit. 

FAQ

Do I have to do everything myself? Not at all! If you want to use public domain art/sounds or the like, that's entirely fine. And we encourage jammers to team up, too!

Can I use stuff I've already made? To an extent. The spirit of the jam is that you make something new, not rejig an existing game to fit the criteria.

Will there be another jam? Yes we run at least one game jam every semester. 

JUDGING

The overall winning team will recieve a minecraft creeper plushie and eternal immortalization in the annals of history. The games will be judged based on the following criteria:

Theme: How well does it fit the theme?

Fun: Was it fun? Enjoyable?

Artwork: Does the game look good? Does the art style fit the type of game? Is the pixel art charming? (EXAMPLE ONLY - Pixel art not required)

Audio: How is the music? Does it fit? What about the sound effects?

Creativity: Were you pleasantly surprised by some game mechanic or design in the game? Does it use the theme in an interesting way?
