WELCOME TO AAU GAME JAM!

The AAU Jam, made by Aalborg University Students, was made primarily with AAU students in mind, but all willing participants are very much welcome to join in.

The AAU Jam game submissions should attempt to incorporate both the current seasons theme and wildcard, and the latter [Wildcard] is a concept that will be revealed on the first day of the Jam.
Remember that no prior knowledge or skills are needed with game development. What's important is having fun, being creative, and learning along the way.

The jam will take place physically at Frederikskaj 12, 2450 København, in room B 1.05 (Med3 Group room) however it is possible to participate online as well. 

Do know that we will be taking pictures during the event. We will also be using gameplay in promotional videos and posts on our social media accounts.

THEME: "Horror"

WILDCARD: "One Rule"

VOTING: After the jam's submission deadline the community/participants will be able to vote on their favorite submissions, within 5 different categories. 

• Use of theme and Wildcard
• Fun to play
• Atmosphere
• Innovative mechanics

Voting time will take place on the day with only the participants being able to vote.
(Other people will still be able to play the games but not vote on them)

RULES:

1. Any team size is allowed
2. You may only work on the game within the time frame
3. You can use assets you haven't made as long as you credit them accordingly
4. You may re-use code you made before as long you didn't make it specifically for this jam
5. You can use any software/game engines you prefer (Keep in mind, that the game should still be accessible and playable)
6. Be nice to each other :)
