Hello,
I'm Lux, a TTRPG game designer, and I have trouble reading games that go above 5-6 pages in length. As a result, most of my games are either short, or can be explained quickly in person.
On the other hand, I can listen to podcasts that go on for even 1 hour, or 1 hour and a half. I usually put them on while I clean the house, and it's really one of my favorite things to do.
So with this preamble out of the way, I wonder if we can make more accessible games by providing an explanation of the rules and/or a "director commentary" of why they are a certain way as an audio, or a video that can be listened to while doing chores.
I think the easiest way to record yourself is with your phone, and then upload that audio to a podcast site like Spreaker or some shit like that. On desktop you can use OBS, and regardless of the recording device it can then be edited with Audacity. I'll keep the forum for this jam open for further discussion.
So to sum it up, the point of this jam is to create TTRPGs of about 5-6 pages in length, and with rules explained as an audio that can be listened to while doing chores.
