A Game By Its Cover is an annual game jam about turning the fictional cartridge art of the My Famicase Exhibition into the real thing. We intend AGBIC to be as relaxed as possible. This means no rankings, no competition, no voting or scoring, and no prizes.
Our (optional) theme for this year is:
Incorporate any of these Ten Thousand Statistically Grammar-Average Band Names into your game somehow.
(Think of them as Jam Diversifiers.)
Submissions are open all through July (maybe longer... shhhhh.....).
Browse the exhibition, pick something that inspires you, take your time, chill, and turn it into a game! (It actually doesn't even have to be a game, anything you wanna do is fine)
