The Trilogy Has been Foretold!

The 3rd Vaultacular Game Jam is a two-week game development jam for game developers at any level.

Anyone can enter this jam as a team, a duo or try the iron man run and do it solo!   

Any engine can be used

LIMITATIONS

The limitation along with the theme are special conditions that your game must follow, or your game will be disqualified. The limitation for this game jam is 'THREE ENDINGS' meaning your game MUST have three separate endings incorporated in some way in your game. 

This could be three separate 'game over' screens. 

Three different end bosses.

Three different colored lights at the end of your game (here's looking at you Mass effect 3)

Three different NPC stories 

OR whatever you think works best! it is up to you!

RULES!

• You can only develop your game within the time frame of two weeks from August 20th at 8am MST to September 3rd at 11:59 pm. 
• Updates are allowed after the game has been submitted
• No NSFW content or excessive gore/violence.
• Though you are encouraged to try to create your own assets, you can use premade assets that were not made for or during this jam from previous projects or from an asset pack as long as stated in your games bio. 
• Please, follow the limitations given!
• Please, read the rules!

Any games that do not follow these rules may be removed from the jam.

RATING

There will NOT be a ranking or prize at the end of this jam. 

This jam is for personal development and peer feedback.

The feedback should follow these points  

- How players enjoy their time playing the game.    

- How well the game kept within the limitations and the theme. 

- overall concept 

- How interesting and/or unique the main focus of the game was.    

All games that follow the rules will be played on the whitevault stream

THEME

"CHANGE THE ENVIRONMENT BEFORE THE ENVIRONMENT CHANGES YOU"

this could be done in many ways:

for example in a racing game maybe hitting checkpoints keeps the road from becoming icy... or turn into fire

or by moving one block you have now caused a cave-in

feel free to push this theme as far as you want
