You can even publish an existing game you've been working on as long as it has been developed only in 2026!

Q&A:

Q: What is the submission limit? I mean if I manage to make for example 2 games during 2026, do I have to choose 1 of them to submit or can I submit both?

A: You can submit as many games as you want as long as they are made only in 2026, each game would be judged independently

Q: Can I upload 'electronic' games?

A: Yes, but please make them playable on itch.io as well!

Q: Can I work in a team?

A: Yes, you can work as in a big of a team as you want!

Q: Are you able to submit games you've submitted to a different GameJam?

A: Yes! As long as it follows the rules of this jam, primarily being made in 2026.

Q: What game engine can I use?

A: Any engine! Go wild! If you have no idea what to use, I'd recommend Godot 4. Just make sure the game can be playable on some platform.

Q: Is there a theme?

A: Nope, we had optional themes last year but this time I feel as if anyone should be able to make whatever without any restrictions. You can come up with restrictions yourself!
