Welcome to the first annual North Carolina Collegiate Game Jam, hosted by the Game Development Club at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill! This jam is open to all students attending college in North Carolina, and all skill levels and team sizes are welcome!
This jam will begin at 11:00 AM EDT on October 15 and end at 11:00 AM EDT on October 24. This jam is longer, because we know getting time to work on games while being a full time student is tough. Work whenever you have time, and don't feel pressured to spend the entire jam period making your game!
A "game jam" is a short period of time in which participants work to make a complete video game from scratch! It's a really effective way to motivate yourself to complete your projects and build a portfolio of games for your resume.
All university students attending college in North Carolina are welcome. There is no restriction on team size.
Start: Saturday, October 15, 11:00 AM EDT
End: Monday, October 24, 11:00 AM EDT
Voting period end: Monday, October 31, 11:00 AM EDT
