2021 AMES Game Showcase Contest!!!

Prompt for the 2021 Game Showcase is:

From finding ways to survive and thrive in a global pandemic, to social and political turmoil, to navigating education over zoom, to the challenges involved in creating media (even outside a pandemic!), to the latest addition to the mars rover family, no word encompasses our shared experience over the past year more than "Perseverance".

Your prompt for the 2021 Showcase is Perseverance. There's a number of different approaches you can take with this, so be creative, work hard, and have fun! We look forward to seeing your products in May!!

 Submission Guidelines:

Teams should Join the Jam (click the Join Jam button) as soon as possible to be informed of updates/changes/etc to the Jam. Please use an email address that will be checked regularly! Pages can be created and projects updated as many times as you want, so update frequently!

Project should be completed by teams in High School CTE Programs. Teams of Five or Smaller are required. 

A Complete Project includes:

• The Game - Either downloadable from or playable inline on your Itch.io page
• A short video (screen capture is 100% fine!) walking through gameplay, design decisions, etc. 10 minute maximum, linked and/or embedded in your itch.io page
• An itch.io page with (as a minimum) the game, video, instructions and identifies school participants are from

Timeline:

All work on projects must be within the contest dates. Contest begins on Monday, March 29 (Prompt will launch at 7pm PST) and submissions will close on Thursday, May 27 at 7pm. Final 2 Teams must be chosen by their school's advisor no later than May 27th.
