Welcome to the 1:1 Jam!

This jam is intended as a space for you to learn the process of game development.

The 1:1 Jam has a list of 7 one-word themes! From that list, choose a theme to base your game around. The twist: you can create multiple submissions, each one based on a different theme! One word to one game.

With 2 weeks on the clock, you can challenge yourself to make a game for each theme, slow down and really polish up the one game you're really passionate about, or anything in between!

Anybody can join, and you are allowed to form teams or otherwise collaborate on a submission!

Rules

1. No hate speech or bigotry. Nothing that breaks itch.io ToS or local law. Be cool.
   
2. Absolutely no AI generated assets, including but not limited to 2D art, 3D assets, text, or music. Provided below are resources to find or make any asset you could need.
3. Submissions must be made during the jam period specifically for the jam. No old games reposted. Existing code and assets may be used, but only if you have legal right to them.
4. Games can be released as free, PWYW, or with a price tag. If you're charging for the game, please send me a copy so I can review for content which breaks the rules, and consider adding community copies.
5. A submission can only use one of the provided themes, and must use one.
6. Submissions must be digital games.

A final note on the rules: any submission that is deemed in violation of any of the rules may be removed from the jam, depending on the severity of the offense. The rules above are ordered from most offensive to least offensive.
