============ PRIZES ============

Welcome to our first ever $1,000 game jam!  We've done $100 Game jams in the past but this is our first $1,000 one.  Whoever comes in first place will win $1,000 USD.  In order to be considered for the prize you must be subscribed to our YouTube Channel and you'll need to have a PayPal (This is the method we use to give the prize money as it's the safest for both parties) no exceptions.

In order to win the gamejam you must creatively use one of our tutorials and match the theme of the game jam.  The theme will be announced when the game jam starts.

Our YouTube channel:  https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCOeqp8EFIZdKhnIbsNDyKug

Tutorial: Any tutorial will do.  You'll need to screen shot the code with your itch.io account name commented out in the code along with a secret word we'll give you if you win.

Theme:  No Violence

$1,000 Game Jam Announcment Video:

What are the rules?

- You're game must utilize one of our tutorials.

- You're game must be in line with the theme of the game jam, which will be revealed at the beginning of the jam.

- Only Unity Game Engine.  Sorry but in order to utilize our tutorial you'll have to use Unity.

- Keep it appropriate.  Entries with Nudity, Graphic violence (blood and violence is fine but think COD zombies, NOT Mortal Kombat), Strong language (cursing), hate speech (racism, sexism, etc.) , and other inappropriate elements will be disqualified.  Satanic stuff is a bad idea too.  A good rule of thumb is to aim for a "T" for teen rating and bellow.

- 3rd Party Assets are allowed. (You do not need to use the assets used in the tutorial, just what was taught.)

- Be creative!

- Absolutely no late submissions, under any circumstances.

Your game will be voted on...

- Innovation

- Use of the theme

- Creative use of the Tutorial (Cool interaction mechanics, features ,etc.)

- Fun

- Level Design

- Sound Design

- Art

- Clean ( 5 stars = little to no bugs, 1 star = almost unplayable/unplayable)

The primary focus of the game jam is the tutorial and implementing it so some of the normal categories aren't here.

PS:  We'd love to know what you think or suggestions you have for improvements for future game jams.  If you'd like to leave feedback you can send an email to JTAGamesinfo@gmail.com title the subject  "1000DollarGameJam"  If you title it anything else we probably won't read it.  If you have questions about the tutorial use the comment section on YouTube as that's where we try to answer as many questions as possible.
