The TL;DR

Rules: The obby must be beatable, not contain NSFW or nudity, and be built during the game jam period using the QuickGame web editor.

Submissions: Share your game link (using the share button in the top right corner of the editor) to @dested or the #gamejam channel on Discord. No discord? Email the link to dested@quickga.me. Submissions due before Sunday Feb 19th, at 8PM PST!

Voting: Go to the "Gamejam" tab on quickgameworld.com to vote! (Note: you'll need a free account to vote). The voting will take place Monday February 20th to Tuesday Feb 21st at midnight PST, with the winner announced Wednesday in the community Discord 

When: Starts February 11th, at 5PM PST, to February 19th, at 8PM PST.

About QuickGame editor

What is it: quickgameworld.com is a javascript based game engine, but you can use it without knowing how to code. It works on PC, Mac, iPad, phone, Chromebook and more.  It's browser-based so all you need is an internet connection. You'll need to create a free account to submit your games, but you can play, see, and build games without one.

Is it free? Yes! 

Do I need to download anything? Nope!

Can I submit more than one game?  Yes! You can submit as many games as you want.

Can I make a video about my game? Yes! In fact if you tag #quickgame in your social media posts we’ll try to repost your work

What else do I need? Creativity, moxie, a love of torturing obby players. Oh, and those sweet, sweet winnings will need to go to a Paypal account.
