WELCOME
Horror Jam is a 14-day-long video game development jam that occurs every two weeks on Itch.io.
Feel free to use assets to get you game off the ground fast.
PRIZE
The top publicly voted game will receive a price of $150.
Second place will receive a prize of $50.
THEME
The theme for the first Horror Jam game is Space.
RATING
At the end of the Jam, there will be a rating period that lasts 5 days.
We have allowed a public rating process this is made fair by the rating queue
Your game will be rated on:
Scare Factor- How scary was the game.
Concept - How interesting or unique the main focus of the game was.
Presentation - How well executed the main focus of the game was.
Use of theme - How well the game incorporated the given theme.
All submitted games will be played through with a link to the YouTube video posted.
RULES/FAQ
Rules:
Keep game content clean - Any and all NSFW content, potentially offensive content, graphic content etc. must be clearly telegraphed with a content warning at the start of the game as well as in it's description or cover.
Games should be submitted to be playable on Windows or web.
