Make your own asset pack for everyone to enjoy!

This is the 1st edition of the 1bit Asset Pack Jam. The goal of this jam is to create as many pixel art 1bit asset pack as possible!

Theme :

This jam does not impose a theme, so feel free to create assets for any universe/setting. The only rule is that you have to follow the restrictions listed bellow.

Restrictions :

• The asset pack must be in a PIXEL ART style and only using Black & White (no color/greys/transparency)
• The asset pack must follow this 320*128 template and showcase the relevant categories

• Assets should be 16px*16px, but you can make some assets be 32*16 or 32*32, as long as it's only a couple of them. The goal is to make as many 16*16 assets as possible.
• The finished asset pack must be provided as a .png file before the end of the jam. The asset file must not be upscaled, but you can provide a complementary upscaled file to better showcase your work
• The asset pack must include your name/alias as a signature, either somewhere below the assets or in the filename.

FAQ

Do I have to know how to do pixel art to participate ?

No! In fact, I do believe making some small 1bit pixel art assets is the best way to start and learn pixel art!

Can I use any drawing app ?

> Yes, as long as it can do 1bit pixel art 

Is this jam ranked ? Will there be a voting round ?

> No, this jam is just an excuse to do pixel art and improve your skills ! There will be no ranking once the jam ends, only tons of cool new asset packs

Do I need to stick to your examples ? Can I draw other animals/characters/weapons than the ones showcased in the example file ?

> The example file is just that, an example! As long as your assets follow the themes listed in the template, you're good to go! You can draw any animal, as long as it's an animal, any plant, as long as it's a plant.

Can I sell my asset pack afterward ?

> The asset pack you create is all yours! Feel free to release it as a free or paid download.
