🪞 THE THEME

MIRROR

Take the idea of a mirror, reflection, duplication or another side and turn it into a game.

Your interpretation can be literal, mechanical, narrative, visual or anything else you want.

A reflection doesn't necessarily have to show you what you expect.

THE OTHER SIDE

Include something that exists on the other side of the mirror.

It could be another world, character, timeline, version of the player or something completely different.

This challenge is optional.

You have 7 days to create your game.

🎮 WHO CAN ENTER?

Everyone.

Solo developers, teams, beginners and experienced developers are all welcome.

It could be your first game ever or your 100th.

🛠️ TOOLS

Use whatever development tools you want.

Any engine or development environment is welcome. Just don't use AI for your entire game, some use is fine just don't script and model the entire game with AI.

📜 RULES

1. Your game must be created during the official jam period. (You can use existing assets)
2. Pre-existing games cannot be submitted as official entries.
3. You must have the rights to any assets you use.
4. Your submission must comply with itch.io's TOS.
5. Late submissions will only be accepted for technical issues, simply running out of development time does not qualify for a late submission.
6. THE OTHER SIDE is optional.
7. Some 18+ content is allowed but you MUST give a warning and it must not be over the top.

📤 SUBMISSION

Your submission should include a playable game and a short description.

Screenshots and a cover image are strongly recommended.

Make sure your game is uploaded correctly before the deadline.

Don't wait until the final minute if you can avoid it.
