What is ‘Explore and Galore’?

This jam revolves around the idea of games with an expansive space for the player to get lost in. Nomatter where you are, the forest, the desert, the ocean, there’s always somewhere waiting to be discovered. 

With the concept laid out, this gives participants’ games limitless potential for gameplay styles and mechanics without having much as barriers. This being said, the theme is an unexpected aspect of a GameJam, making this GameJam’s theme practically the only creative restriction.

Rules:

• Game MUST be in 3D!
• Game CANNOT use low-poly 3D models! (please anything but low-poly games, gosh)
• Game MUST have fullscreen!
• Gameplay MUST be longer than an hour!
