Units and explosives take too long to regen to be able to buy and use when 20 of them are running through your lines. Feels like it's just luck if I make it past 1-8 and even when I get past it I always lose on the night part. Just a frustrating gameplay, I'm hoping it gets refined in the future.
worse plants vs zombies, my lord, this is just not fun. winning is entirely luck based, and if something gets to the final row, give up. there's way too many enemy's and not enough resources. it just doesn't understand tower defense fundamentally.
IMO, I think the unit prices are decently balanced. Having multiple wizards will make your army OP. I completed Act 2-9 & 2-10 using a combination of farmers, archers, arbalists, cock tanks, mines, and barrels. Since farmers have the shortest cooldown, place them in front of witches when they spawn to absorb their Charm spells while your archers and arbalists shoot them from the rear of your formation.

It was a dwarf I tried to delete btw when it happened. The double shot crossbow unit. I was trying to take him away so the girl on him wouldn't be invincible and I could take her out before she broke through the last square lol .
I don't remember which girl was on him. I wish I had got a screenshot of the error code before the game failed. It said something like object does not exist in line 2... I didn't get a chance to see the rest though.

I experienced a similar error with one of my cock tanks, but I wasn't trying to delete a unit. After he captured a witch, he was attacked and defeated by a marionette during his H-scene with the witch which caused an error. It sounds like it happens when an H-scene is interrupted by an enemy unit, or the player.

2-9 is downright impossible. You need multiple bombs, but they reload so slow. you go through 2 massive waves and a final 3rd wave of like 12 witches and 20 dolls. It's just an unreasonable way to keep you playing the game over and over again.
The clearance is very simple. The biggest problem is the lack of a shovel. The problem I encountered was that I eliminated the last monster but did not have the option for the next level
Position your farmers in front of the witches to use as light tanks to absorb their Charm spells as they spawn, and place mines on a tile behind them to kill them after the H-scene. You should have at least 6 farmers on the field before the first rush. They are the key.
this game is so fucking annoying but its just so addicting. Keep on dying but I want to see the other scenes so i try and pull through.....only to fail again.
Place the archers on the first two rows, your farmers on the 3rd row, and whatever else on the next ones. Also be sure to use the shield guys for later waves and the mines for the last level with the goblins holding a metal sheild.
indipendent from any level, you can place immediately 2 farmers in the backline and then get 25 credits to spend on a mine, putting you to an early money advantage, then get one arcer when the second girl appears (if she is futher away by at least 4 tiles), after that you can wait for the 2 girls in one lane and place a bowman and a mine, mines are very good as a first defence against rushes, and you can steam roll it, then DON'T use the barrels at the start, they cost way too much for being good, i suggest to use them when you have at least 6-8 farmers, use them on the Witches and as a last resort if a lane is compromized, Most importantly, for 2-X levels, always put a mine somewhere in the lane, Witches have way too much health and try to eco everything,

The game is fairly simple if you know how to manage your units. It was beatable before the update, and even easier after the update.

The game can be a little challenging, but not hard if you know how to place your units. Your issue is with strategy, not the game.

Encountered a bug where level 2-3 won't end, even after defeating all the enemies.

I got to act 2-9. when there are a lot of enemies on the screen, the game starts to slow down.
the last unit is overpriced in my opinion, it should go from 150 to 100, or at least increase her health to make her as resistant as the shield bearer
you should mention somewhere that you have "pre-builds" on patron somewhere in the game or here on itch io
