I'm not familiar with your system setup, but it sounds like an issue with Unity. If I were you, I'd search around online and see if other people are having this sort of issue with recent Unity titles.
I came up with an idea that i think could be cool. If you added goon chacter you could make him defened his building from enemies but can only get wepons with money? and your doing great on the game btw

Dev build version just changed right infront of my eyes.
There seems to be a bug with the Killer Robot where you can kill it by either knocking it off the edge of the map or letting it kill itself. Not sure if this is supposed to be a feature or not but if not it's probably best to significantly decrease it's knockback and increase it's health by a lot too.

Its really fun and reminds me alot of DarkRP for garrys mod but a 2D version. The amount of objects you can interact with and everything you can do in this game is very impressive. Keep it up devs!

And update cars and bike and motors so i can ride so those hostle mans try to kill me so update those i said because your game is the best i love this. i like your online multiplayer but i got 2 bugs can you fix it madguy?
Part of it might be due to the fact that it's a "Development build" and therefore spitting out all sorts of information and affecting performance a bit. The issue with items is something I need to fix.
Thinking that some people may need to forward the ports. I have no clue how networking works even in the slightest detail, so hats off to you for doing some Codey Blaine. Are you the only one coding? Even with a few more people that's still quite impressive. Let alone one, overall coded good, and in terms of atmosphere you articulated. Doing great with the progress!
Just learned that there are 3 data centers for Unity's matchmaking: US, EU, and AP. It just shows you the games for the closest one. But, in the next build I'm going to add a workaround that lets you choose your data center. Eventually this will probably use something like Steamworks...

Its a really god game but so far i had 2 bugs : i wasnt able to see items after i died
2. I was on a server i was walking and then poof it wrote in the chat thad i disconneted but i didnt and i was able to write in chat but nobody was able to see it and i wasnt able to exit or anithing like that i had to close the game in task manager
But i love the game so far cant wait to show it to my friends !

you just keep on pleasing us dude the multiplayer is great and a it doesn't lag alot, You've done wel;l with this update.(btw i started dancing when i saw it had a update!)
oh and another idea for the zombie character how about you make him have this starting item for him bacteria virus if you put it on the air vents and people become zombies when they touch the air
I say this because, while it keeps to the standards of the genre, it adds so much to the gameplay that it practically stands on its own.
Graphically, the pixelated style holds up. Nothing groundbreaking, but it holds its own. The sound effects were on par, although I really wish we could get some background music soon. The controls take a bit to get used to, otherwise it plays beautifully. The gameplay, however, is where Streets of Rogue takes off. With so much customization and potential builds/play styles, it does have the feel of bigger-name games.
I can't think of very many cons off the top of my head, which is strikingly odd when playing alpha builds.
Overall, this is a damn fine start to what could be a sleep hit next year. Good luck on development!

The matchmaking list can be flaky and doesn't always show all the games going on. Seems to be a region thing. Looking into fixes.

Not sure how much customization the home base will have, but it would be cool. Depends what I have time for.
No cars though, sorry. If this game gets a sequel, that's first on my list.

This is a masterpiece.
An astounding rogue like rpg game that is fast paced, fluid, brutal and can be played any way you want to play.

A couple people have reported these, so I guess they're somewhat common. I'll look into them next week.

Could you try something for me?
- Grab this special debug build of the game: http://streetsofrogue.com/sordownloadsbeta.html
- Run the game and get the bug.
- Go to the StreetsOfRogue_Data directory and send me the output_log.txt file (my email address is matt dot a dot dabrowski at gmail dot com)
This may help me find what caused the bug. I've heard of other people getting this, but was never able to reproduce it myself.
Once you do that, you can probably fix the bug yourself by following the second answer on this site: http://streetsofrogue.tumblr.com/troubleshooting
