I have never played Pokemon before but I still found myself enjoying the game a lot. Fr. I couldn't stop myself from fangirling to my friends through the entire time. Great job and I am hoping for more
Valorant Neon's VA?!?! I was surprised when i heard her voice cuz i didnt see the credits. that aside, this visual novel is super cute ! from the writing, the art and the interface!! cant wait for the full version
omg I DIDNT KNOW U VOICE CROWE IN WHERE WINTER CROWS GO I LITERALLY SCREAMED WHEN I FOUND OUT CUZ SNAGGEMON AND SAID GAME ARE THE 2 GAMES IM GREATLY LOOKING FORWARD TO!?!?!?/.1.2 WAAAAHHHH OMG
My god this was such a fun visual novel. I adore everything! From the art, to MC's personality (seriously, the more I read through the stuff that MC went through the more I'm astounded that they didn't go rouge or swore a whole storm at every League member there was), the humor and wittiness that was so expertly done and not at all forced (I'm crying at the fact that Team Golde has more benefits than the hustle MC is doing for the League, like free labor and all), to Kinerret being what you could say a God (seriously, just how OP is MC), and of course, our crowning glory, Garrett himself.
I love how he just like... Has braincells of a normal human being, like he slammed a baseball bat and kidnapped MC which, come on is like a rational decision and one MC begrudgingly is impressed with. And just that enemies to crush speedrun (OH GOD THE EMBARRASSMENT AND THRILL I HAD WHEN MC HAD TO FLIRT WITH GARRETT LIKE I KNOW THIS FUCKER WAS TAPPING INTO THEIR OWN FEELINGS SANS THEIR PRIDE) and the way they literally had a heart-to-heart moment inisde that recording booth. Absolutely amazing. When Garrett had to leave, I am embarrassed to say I felt sad that he had to go-- AND IF I FELT EMBARRASSED, WONDER THE AMOUNT OF EMBARRASSMENT MC HAD TO ENDURE HAHAAHA
I'm curious about our dear rival Bram (man, the backstories you give out really tug the heartstring and bring a real depressing sense of realism to the Snaggemon world because damn, you are right about this hypothetical real situation) as well as the ending with King and all the other Team Leaders. Looking forward to MC's breakdown at having to be a Master when they just are in their 20's dealing with a lot of shit that not even an adult has faced.

Does the MC have a default or canon name? Honestly, I know the MC doesn't have a sprite because it's supposed to be us, but I liked them and I want them to have their own name and image, so pleaseee, make the MC their own sprite<3

Sorry to say we've actively decided against giving the player character a 'canon' appearance and name for the purpose of keeping the game as a first person experience, but I can say that many people in the SnaggeMon fandom (especially on Discord) have taken to calling the player 'The Champion' or 'Champ' for short! ^_^
Thanks for the quick response, and a shame because The Champion's style and look has always been one of the coolest and most epic in games when it comes to character designs.

I bought this on a friend's recommendation, and I adore it. Aside from personally being a sucker for the Pokemon genre and rival or enemies to lovers ships in general, I loved that the main character has their own distinct voice and character! While some people might consider that a downside on account of not being a pair of pants, it feeds into my main praise for the game:
The writing fucking rules. Like, it's witty, it knows the genre and plays with it without looking down on the tropes, it's snappy, it made me laugh out loud at multiple points. The voice acting is good, and I was very impressed by the visual direction and art (it reminds me of Gen 4 and 5 Pokemon, that weird point on the NDS right before the jump to 3D where they'd mastered pixel art and had the tech to lace in traditional art to enhance it), but the reason I'm subscribed and hoping eagerly for more is because I can genuinely see the chemistry between the characters and I want to know what happens next.
God the voice acting, the visuals, music and ! ! ! I freaking love this. That ending was cheff's kiss . Garrett's va did a freakin amazing job! and that moment with Bram made my heart flutter hhh <3
I played the game and it is SO GOOD! There are times where the dialogue text doesn't match the voice lines, and I have another nitpick but not gonna say as it doesn't matter, but this game is just great! Garrett is so lovable while having a backstory that makes sense. He has fun chemistry with the M/C. The art is so nice to look at. The voice acting is so well done. The voices fit the characters appearance, when we do see them, and you can hear the character's emotions. I do not regret putting the amount of money I put into this game and look forward to seeing where it goes.
daddy bram!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! also there seems to be an ongoing issue with thie image of the ring, it's just a black square sometimes, thankfully I already know what it looks like, but I wnat newcomers to have the full experience, so is there any possible way you could fix that? Also I suspect a new visual novel coming out soon ;)
