This is everything I could ever ask for. I feel like so many of these kinds of games just don't get the vibes right, I don't feel as scared, as vulnerable, or as completely hopeless as I should be feeling. But this game has the perfect vibes, it's exactly how you want one of these games to be. This gives fuel to my life. I am so excited to see more of this game!!
I wanted to add that I love that the choices you make actually have an impact, a lot of games in this genre don't really give you much for making a choice. I loved ever single outcome. The emotions you set out to make us feel hit the bullseye every time. You (fuzzycuffs) GET it! You understand what it takes, and you do it so amazing!
As of right now unfortunately I do not have the resources to do so. I would love to have the game translated although I do not want to have it poorly translated via machine and I can't afford to properly compensate translators for the workload right now. ( ′～‵ )

Oh my god, this was incredible! The writing is fantastic. The MC's reactions feel so authentic. I love how certain moments where the mc acts positively toward Riker are later explained through internal monologue to be more manipulative or self-serving. It makes them feel so much more real. The subtle art changes when the tone shifts are also so cool and genuinely spooky. Ah! I can't wait for a full release.
Btw, I love all the endings but turning the tables is so awesome, MC is a force to be reckoned with! (Also taking it slow made me turn bright red lol)
Just want to say that I just discovered itch.io recently and have been playing a TON of games and yours is still the gold standard I compare everything else too :)
OH My Gosh this was fun to play! I was a little worried when I read 25 endings but after a while it was so intriguing to try and find each one! I love how it feels like a slow burn at first and then everything racks up so fast. I love all the ways you can mess with Rikker and also all the ...creative ways he can mess with the player! There is so much love and work in this game, I commend and applaud you for ALL the different sprites and poses and angles you had to make for Rikker! I will put up my playthrough here for you when I finish it, but goodness this was so much fun to play!!

So few good games with yandere boys, this game is definitely BRILLIANT! If I had the opportunity, I would certainly support the game financially, but so far there is no such possibility and I am trying to promote the game, advising it to the same players as me and telling let's players about it on YouTube, because this demo deserves fame and support! Ok, i'm just vibing to the music when the room turned a bit red 😂💕 it fits him really good like, the music kinda represent riker in general!. And This one is definitely in my top 5 fav yandere themed games i'd replay again and again! Anyway, riker's smile is so sooo sooooo charming oof my heart! You draw his expressions so neat!
Anyway, The 'Caretaker', 'Kinky', and 'Taking it slow' endings are my fav so far. I just like it when he acts between being a soft happy-guy and a meanie sadist 😂. By the way, can't wait to see it done! Take your time dev! 💕

[Kinda Spoiler-ish, i guess]
First of all, HEY, i absolutely didn't expect the JuMpScAre. Like- dang, author, you got me good. Played this At Two in the morning, Alone, and man... Love the surprise.
Second, i love how sweet and... questionable (haha) Riker's true feelings is. Really, that guy confuse me sometimes and made me think between 'Aw Ri, Poor MC, don't do that' and 'Just Do MC pls-'. Overall, His characterization is good.
Third, a little suggestion, Author: i'd love to see the MC has several options when Riker decides to... ahem, 'jump on them', i guess? (Typed this made me so awkward argh). Like- maybe we can choose whether we can get the upper-hand or let him get it?. In case some players want to.. dominate the guy and the other just simply want the guy as the dom to them. Though, i'm more of a somewhere in between and would love to see you add a 'switch' trait... if that makes sense. But of course it's up to you what to do with your game and all, i'm just simply giving idea hehe. Don't take it seriously :), feel free to steer the plot to where you want to!.
And last, yes, i love this one a lot! It's been long i've found something like this where the yandere is somewhere between 'Almost Psychopath' and somewhat 'Subtle Yandere'. Not too violent, but not too soft either, love it. And btw, the music when the background changed to red fit Riker so good~ Dare i say, it gave Sensual vibe to him.
I'm pretty sure I can think of what you're referring to with the jumpscare, my bad （；^ω^) had to do it at least once.
And yes absolutely, Riker's character is more of the aggressor, so that theme will be the majority of his run, but I do plan on having a route where the player can turn things around on him. The second mc will be the opposite to give the option for both preferences.

SLIGHT SPOILERS? The facial expressions and the soundtrack are just so gooood. Like the way his eyes slowly turn grey in the gift route is just mwah chefs kiss. Even though he was acting out in his red route, I was just dancing to the music fr. My favorite ending is route psychos second end his comebacks were just 🤤🤤. Thank you for this gorgeous game!!
To be honest, you did such a great job! I noticed when his eyes turned a light shade of green but by the time his eyes turned grey I was so confused! I was like "Wait his eyes turned grey?? When??😮" And I had to go back and really focus to notice it. Super cool!!

holy shit, there's so much effort put into the sprites and they're genuinely AMAZING !! they fit their vibes perfectly each time, whether that's charming or chillingly creepy.. the "turning the tables" route is my favourite so far and i hope it continues along those lines instead of turning into the stereotypical "yandere regaining control by breaking the MC thing" !! it's refreshing to see a yandere in a more sub role. anyways, great work so far and i'm excited to see more!!

I don't usually play games like this because I don't understand people who dream about being in situations like this. But I do love a good horror game, especially sci-fi but I decided to change it up a bit and this game is good as fuckkkk. I went through multiple endings and Riker is fucking crazy - meaning you did hella good with his character and story. Mans is crazy but thats the point of the game. It's weird seeing him show different personas for every choice I pick. He is nice in one and then fucking crazy in the other. Your sprites are amazing too, too amazing. They bring out the insanity of the situation and how fucked up he is. Definitely interested in seeing the full release of this bombass game.

I loved this game and was shocked by the amount of endings it had! I tried completing all of them but i may have missed a few. All i can say is that it would be nice for the full release to have some sort of tally of all the endings you've completed. Thank you for this great game :)
That is a great idea I would absolutely want to implement that. I'm hoping to somehow implement a visual representation of the choice tree showing finished endings just to make it easier to read.
Love this game. I really enjoy the dynamic routes following different options (soooooo good that i could see different faces of Riker depending on MC's action, the "daddy" or sweet boy). The art is great; although it may seems childlike by the first glance, the character's facial expression is highly expressive and vivid (I especially love the blushing face in violent scenes lol). Can't wait to see the continuation!!

wow, riker is such a neon red flag and i was so disgusted but like, thats the point, right? haha, i love him because i hate him. really good horror story! i rarely check all the bad ends but in this game i think i got them all, i was so curious! art is beutiful and like someone in the comments said before - showing us riker's emotional state in his spire art was perfect! i played a lot of horror games with possesive characters but this game hits different, im really invested!

My stupid butt has been comparing his hairstyle to Sun Wu Kong, the Chinese mythological character from "Journey To the West" this whole time!! My grandmother and I used to watch an adaptation of the series years ago and I guess it's stuck with me since haha.

I want to say a lot of positive things about this game, but I think that there are a lot of comments that already express exactly how I feel. As someone who is a big fan of yandere content and has been lurking this site for years, this one goes straight to my top 5. The quality blew me away. I mean, the amount of branching paths (which actually makes you feel like your choices mean something), the quality of the writing and the art, are things that you dont see that often. Most visual novels use the same character sprite all the time, whereas you constantly change it depending on the situation. Thats so cool.
The first route I ended up with ("Creep") has to be my favourite, since I love horror and that one gave me the chills. Cant wait to see how it all plays out.
Anyway, I think you are amazing for making this gem of a game. Keep up the good work <3

The goal was to make a character that works to justify his own actions but still not quite reaching any true kind of redeemable reasons. He's meant to be red flag city so I'm glad you like it <3
This is good to hear. I hope to try this out when it's fully released. I keep seeing a lot of "redeemable" bad guys in media lately and honestly, if the person's done sick things, maybe they deserve punishment?? Or at least, not your pity no matter how hot they are.
I was originally thinking of giving him reasons for his actions that would possibly be considered "justifiable" or a major driving force. But after consideration I feel like it's more realistic to have him use his own experiences as excuses for why he is the way he is, when they really aren't reason enough from an outside perspective. I absolutely agree with you too, it's a fun genre but in all actuality this behavior deserves at the least actual repentance or therapy lol.

I loved this game and was shocked by the amount of endings it had! I tried completing all of them but i may have missed a few. All i can say is that it would be nice for the full release to have some sort of tally of all the endings you've completed. Thank you for this great game :)
That is a great idea I would absolutely want to implement that. I'm hoping to somehow implement a visual representation of the choice tree showing finished endings just to make it easier to read.
Love this game. I really enjoy the dynamic routes following different options (soooooo good that i could see different faces of Riker depending on MC's action, the "daddy" or sweet boy). The art is great; although it may seems childlike by the first glance, the character's facial expression is highly expressive and vivid (I especially love the blushing face in violent scenes lol). Can't wait to see the continuation!!
Yeahh I can definitely see what you mean. One thing I would like to do is maybe improve on the background art to give the game more presence. I definitely enjoy drawing faces and expressions the most. Thank you for checking out my game <3
wow, riker is such a neon red flag and i was so disgusted but like, thats the point, right? haha, i love him because i hate him. really good horror story! i rarely check all the bad ends but in this game i think i got them all, i was so curious! art is beutiful and like someone in the comments said before - showing us riker's emotional state in his spire art was perfect! i played a lot of horror games with possesive characters but this game hits different, im really invested!

Unfortunately nothing set in stone as of yet (´∀｀)* I'm chipping away at completing his route during time I'm not working so it is coming along. I'll definitely send out notifications during major progress points as well as near completion, as I don't plan on giving up and leaving it unfinished.

Also, I FINALLY found out why our boy reminded me of a monkey so much. My stupid butt has been comparing his hairstyle to Sun Wu Kong, the Chinese mythological character from "Journey To the West" this whole time!! My grandmother and I used to watch an adaptation of the series years ago and I guess it's stuck with me since haha.
AHHH yes I remember you and thank you for the sub <3 Whenever I draw him with his hairstyle I totally see the monkey man xD He definitely has the hairstyle and the ears poking out as such. I would love to see your art. Please let me know so I can see it >:3

I want to say a lot of positive things about this game, but I think that there are a lot of comments that already express exactly how I feel. As someone who is a big fan of yandere content and has been lurking this site for years, this one goes straight to my top 5. The quality blew me away. I mean, the amount of branching paths (which actually makes you feel like your choices mean something), the quality of the writing and the art, are things that you dont see that often. Most visual novels use the same character sprite all the time, whereas you constantly change it depending on the situation. Thats so cool.
The first route I ended up with ("Creep") has to be my favourite, since I love horror and that one gave me the chills. Cant wait to see how it all plays out.
Anyway, I think you are amazing for making this gem of a game. Keep up the good work <3

And yesss I've always loved the darker outcomes in horror games and wanted to implement that into this game so that branch has been fun to create.

The goal was to make a character that works to justify his own actions but still not quite reaching any true kind of redeemable reasons. He's meant to be red flag city so I'm glad you like it <3
This is good to hear. I hope to try this out when it's fully released. I keep seeing a lot of "redeemable" bad guys in media lately and honestly, if the person's done sick things, maybe they deserve punishment?? Or at least, not your pity no matter how hot they are.
I was originally thinking of giving him reasons for his actions that would possibly be considered "justifiable" or a major driving force. But after consideration I feel like it's more realistic to have him use his own experiences as excuses for why he is the way he is, when they really aren't reason enough from an outside perspective. I absolutely agree with you too, it's a fun genre but in all actuality this behavior deserves at the least actual repentance or therapy lol.
