Cuuuute!!

damn this is a really good game, i want more to do in this, more combinations to super charge your machine, i was running out of resources and i happen to get 1600% which i didn’t think was possible but with some quick brainstorming of how they all connected, it was really fun trying to figure out what parts are compatible with each other :3 10/10 i really enjoy this style, and wish theres more!

[Spoilers!]

I enjoyed playing! The game caught my attention by its first enemy. And then it really drove the point home when I considered the consequences, then messed around in World 5-4 anyway without inspecting everything.

Eventually Yrkkey reached Paradise! Despite all the effort that took and the discoveries I made along the way, I found the end result less gratifying than the one I earned my first time around. Which is completely fair.

Whether by leaving companions behind or by reaching an area unlikely for anyone else to discover, both endings felt a little lonely.

I am, myself, very torn on the two endings. Initially... during development, that is... I thought of them as a "good ending" and a "bad ending," but I like to think that maybe the loneliness of both endings suggests that the problem was having to make a choice at all. Why not find a better way, integrating both lives? At the time I suppose I could not conceive of such a thing. But of course it would feel lonely to have to make such an absolute choice, one way or another.

(There is no third ending in the game, let me be clear.)

Thank you for playing and reaching Paradise! <3

I really enjoyed this.
The possibility space of this game feels huge, there are lots of moving parts and I'm sure there's more to be found even after spending a few hours with it.
It also has a kind of lonely feeling to it, similar to how Cave Story feels.
Wonderful!

You might possibly enjoy this other game of mine, octopus, which has a very awkward feel but a fun Cave Story cameo if you can figure a few things out :)

I love Cave Story, so thank you!

I love this! it's so evocative and exciting, every discovery feels like the tip of an iceberg, which is a feeling I simply adore in games. you deal with a lot of ideas that I've been hopeful to express in my own work, which makes me glad to see, and inspires me.

I haven't finished the game yet, but I really like it so far! I love how the controls in the game world reflect that of the cyberspace, and I also really like the physicality and tactility of all the different computer components. It really feels like there's something more to the world like in starseed pilgrim, and the meta gameplay feels alot like baba is you. I really like this style of game you've made, wonderful job!

Something about having a persistent world with stuff you can move around and interact with just gets me, I'd love to see more of this kind of thing around!
