Nope! The game will remain 100% free. There will be a completely open-source, uncompiled, creative-license version released for a low price, though, that people can use as a template to create their own projects or for whatever else they feel like :)

The game world will have changed drastically, and certain side characters will have changed or will... no longer be available... depending on your actions in Act Two.
If you've done all the content, and made certain choices, then all the side girls will reappear (don't worry, I'm not going to be a dick about it - no "haha, you didn't read my mind so now you're screwed!" moments). Apart from that, no spoilers, though ;)
First of all as a long time fan I can honestly say I'm really glad that I've kept an eye on this project as it was amazing when I first found it and it just keeps getting better and better. The story, the HUMOR, and the character interactions are all top notch

Also, thanks for the report - always helpful to have people mention errors and such. "Quieten" is actually a word, though, and means "to make or become quiet and calm." Basically Jessica is telling them to quiet and calm down in slightly fancy language. Also, just as a matter of linguistic interest, "quieten" was originally the verb form of "quiet" although these days they're used synonymously :)

If I remember right so long as you own the bar all you have to do is buy them at Jessica's office under the bar's upgrade options same as everywhere else.
I just made my way back there from a fresh save and once I purchased the bar all the upgrades were made available for purchase. Sorry if this doesn't help but if you own the bar and still can't buy the upgrades then you should probably report it to Arc as a bug.
I have version 0.16.4 installed on Android, if I replace it with 16.5 (without uninstalling the previous one) would I lose my progress or would it just be like an update?
Game is good but i have a problem i need to reset my phone sometimes and all of my data gone so i need to repeat all the thing again im ok with that but the problem is prologue.(the part before we move to jessica's mansion) its very boring after repeating 8th time can we have a choice to skip it
There's no way to skip content, I'm afraid, as there's too many choices attached to too many variables which affects too many events. I'd suggest backing-up your save folder before each reset, if possible. You can find it here:

This game so addicted, i never love vn like this before. Character model was soo good, animation, and also storyline very interesting. Thanks for making this game. Hope in the future we get some more update :)

absolutely loving this game so far! there's so much content to get through and the replay value of each scene seems to flow nicely!
the only question i have is regarding the use of AURA on the classroom, i've maxed out my AUTHORITY level but when i use AURA on the class, the MC thinks 'that's as far as i can go right now with my level of authority, i'll have to increase it if i want to get away with more than this'
can i further increase my authority to go further with the class? or am i trying to activate a scene that isn't implemented yet?

Actually, I just double-checked and if you've maxed out your Authority then using Aura does allow you naughty time. Tested on my machine and it works as intended. Are you sure you've maxed out your Authority? It's separate from your Education, and you have to "conquer" the three PTA Moms and then hold another PTA meeting.
Hi! yeah my Authority is maxed at 5, i've got full control of the school, conquered the 3 moms, changed the uniform to 'nude', maxed the education to 'best in the country', but still can't trigger anything when using Aura in the classroom.

Ahh, yeah - that would be the problem. Sorry, I always assume people are up to date :P The "naughty fun with Aura" was added in 0.15.3 (and CK is up to 0.16.6 now!) so you'll have to update.
You won't lose your saves or anything - the game automatically detects saves from previous versions. You just need to download, extract and play :)

Just gotta say, I love absolutely everything about this game, it's nearly perfect. I'm playing since 0.11 I believe and it's a really good game, very interesting story with a bunch of characters, a lot of diversity, kinda unpolished because it's not very intuitive but still great.
The summary of the new updates, the Typo hero story, the way you reply to the comments is really funny and I see you as a kind person that is interested in what your player base has to say.
Now, for my personal preferences, Jessica is absolutely adorable, my favorite, I remember you said she was going to kill Emma, (so glad you didn't put that). Really hope she gets more attention. (Or I'll have a breakdown if she's evil)
Asteria, my second favorite, beautiful design, queen of my eyes and has a cute kiddo.
Gwen, I didn't really liked her, yandere is not my thing but now she's my third favorite, a cute girl who is really (really) in love.
And so on, I don't want to bore anyone here so I'll stop but it's a great game.
Quick note: Madison and Veronica deserve more attention, Veronica over all; and all good girls deserve head pats.

I played so far in the newest version but when i try the fay lead it says i have everything but i cant confront the others like hana or ard they only tell me i have nothing against them so i wonder what im missing sins i alrdy used amis notebook so im a lil stuck there so a lil help would be nice thx.
If you read the evidence you've gathered then something should seem weird. Confront the person with the testimony that conflicts with theirs and they'll update their testimony. The updated testimony should conflict with someone else's, so confront that person, and so on :)
If you already have the game installed, downloading the new version just updates it. You can also delete the old version once you've installed the new one.
If you're on PC, Mac or Linux and you have the Itch app then the game will download and install a patch for you. Once that's done, just play as normal!
If you're on PC, Mac or Linux and you're not using the Itch app, then download the update from one of the files above (as you did when you first downloaded the game), extract it to a fresh folder, delete the old folder and play!
If you're on Android then unfortunately you don't get patches even if you're on the Itch app. Download, extract if necessary (sometimes Itch bundles the APK in a zip) and install the new APK on top of the old one. DO NOT DELETE THE GAME!
In all cases, your saves will automatically be detected by the updated game :)

Arc, first of all, i want to say that since i discovered your game, in April of this year, i just can't find words to say how much i love it. It is absolutely the best porn/sex game i have ever played. Your work is just amazing.
But what's even more amzing is that you're still working on it and making it bigger and better every week. It just shows how much you love and care about your game and your comunnity.
And that is what led me to my question: Do you still have plans to add even more girls(Whether main or side), to the game in the act 3? Or it will it just be the end of the story with a few more events to the girls that are already in the game?
I won't lie to you, man! Im asking 'cause i really want to ask for you to consider adding a "robotic/android girl" to the game.
I know, i know. You must get lots of requests like this every month(fans asking for this or that kind of girl, scene or kink) but i needed to be sure that this idea came to in your mind at least once, cause i really feel that a character like thats could fit icredibly well in CK.
You may be familiar with the concept : "An AI in a robot body trying to understand the meaning of things like feelings, beauty and life, and which, interestingly, is also very hot and fuckable".
*I just need to make it clear that with "robot/android girl" im not talking about a normal girl with glowing eyes and lines in her skin. Im talking about a really robot like girl, like Aigis in persona 3, or Orianna in league of legends.
I really think it fits well in the game, it open doors to a lot of phylosofical, beatyful and even funny scenes, it will add a new kind of variety to the game besides humans and monster-girls, and it should not be that hard to do compared to the other monster girls that are in the game.
I can see how it can get a little bit similar to chloe's development, but i really feel that it can be explored in a whole new way, cause with Chloe's character you have a girl whos been brainwashed and is struggling with it, but with the "new character" you will have a whole new mind trying to undestand the world and you will guide that with your own heart... and maybe something else.
I m sorry if with this huge text and my totally sudden request i am being nothhing more than "that guy", but i really needed to try, thanks for reading it, and keep doing your amazing work.

Long version: I'm an idiot. Wait, no, that's also short. Damnit.
Okay, so I'm a solo dev and this is my first actual game. A lot of what I do is either "throw a lot of stuff at the wall and see what sticks" or "oh, this could be cool, I wonder if..." or "oh, I have a great idea for..."
Which is how the game has ended up with 17 main girls, 20+ side girls and over 30 one-shots. Which is too many girls, frankly, and a major reason why Act Two stalled out for so long - too much content to create for each character!
So I resolved to not add any more new characters to the game. And then I did it anyway. See "I'm an idiot" above.
I still have a lot of ideas for characters that I want to explore, though, and some requests that I'd love to be able to satisfy as well. And there are certain story beats and mechanics coming in Act Three that require new girls to be added.
Some ideas I've had, or been requested, that may or may not make it into the game:
1. Robot Girl (yes, this has been requested before and like you say it offers a unique perspective which would be fascinating to explore)
2. Doll girl (functionally the same as a Robot Girl, but magical rather than scientific)
3. Dragon Girl (it's a largely fantasy-themed game! Where are the dragons!?)
4. Slime Girl (same as Dragon Girl. Slimes! C'mon!)
5. Magical Girl(s) (because corrupting a team of magical girls sounds like fun)
6. Org/Fey/Edlritch warriors (this one almost certainly will make it in)
To name but a few off the top of my head.
So, yes, it's practically guaranteed that new girls will be added. And the thought makes me very, very tired ;)
Probably not, as it would bug me to have the same "voice" making noises for each each girl, and giving each of them an individual "voice" would be extremely difficult and add a fair amount of size bloat to the game.
It is something on my "to consider" list for when the game is in its final stages, though. If I can find a good, free library (or get 20+ extremely helpful girls) and manage to compress everything down to what I feel is a reasonable number, then who knows?
Next game I make is going to be designed with voice acting in mind, for sure :)
I played up to scene where you are kidnapped in this game and immediately uninstalled. The description of the game of getting to choose who you get to be a hero or a villain, plus the choice of how you approach relationships with mind control powers really interested me.
However, the story keeps seeming to hammer in this idea of me being the hero, with concern about my family, the fairy and others. Making it very hard to just focus on being a villain.
That isn't to mention it seems like a majority of the game takes place after this scene, because I wanted to explore meet characters, build relationships, do all the things the game advertised I could do, but I had to wait for other events to trigger. It genuinely frustrated me, because all I wanted to do was play the game, but I kept having control and choices taken away with me.
Yes I understand that primarily, this is a visual novel, with RPG elements, but if your main selling point are how you get to make a choice and I don't get to make choices, it takes me out of the game.
The story is fantastic and it shouldnt be nearly as polished as it is, considering there's only 1 dev. But if you are just going to look down your nose at this game, then you'll be the one missing out.
I appreciate the sentiment, truly, and I'm glad you like the game! :) But it's not for everyone, and that's okay. I'm grateful if people try it, even if they don't like it, and constructive negative criticism is always useful - even if it's only to reaffirm the direction you've chosen to take.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the game, but thank you for the feedback. All criticism, positive or negative, is useful - if only to see how different people perceive the same systems and characters. All of it helps me to refine my work!
That being said, I feel like a couple of points need to be cleared up, just for anyone else who may be reading and hasn't played yet:
1. The game never promises Hero/Villain routes. The description says that " you are the hero - or possibly villain - of this tale", which is talking about characters' (and even players') perception of your actions. After all, you're doing "the right thing" from your perspective, but in the process you're using mind control, framing people and actively working against people with different moral beliefs than yours. Are you a hero? Or are you just a villain with good motivations?
2. This is a heavily story- and character-based game. If you except, or desire, everything and everyone to be available to you from the very start then I'm afraid this certainly isn't the game for you. A side-effect of being heavily story-focused is that certain characters and events cannot happen simultaneously or in a "whatever" order or else the entire structure falls apart.
As a solo dev, I have to be incredibly careful with my time and so too many mechanics and too many choices are simply impossible, unless I want to be still working on CK ten years from now, and to have each update have half the content it currently does for each player (not many people want to play both a good and evil route).
I hope that clarifies things for people who are unsure about what this game is, and what it offers! To those who enjoy the game, and support it - either financially or simply through the incredibly touching messages you send me - I thank you from the bottom of my heart! And to those that don't, well, thank you for giving it a try! Fortunately the indie adult game market has never been stronger and there are so many gifted developers out there much more proficient than I am, so I'm sure you'll find your dream game out there somewhere.

Hello, if there a guide or checklist for all the side content? I know Act 3 is a point of no return and I want to make sure I haven't missed anything before I move on
I don't think there is no real checklist for the game, but you can romance all the girls and get max stats. Other than all of that, you can use the explore mechanic and find extra side girls for more scenes. Also the Act 2 finale isn't quite finished yet so I recommend having a save file prior to activating the finale so you can still go back.
What bloodnguts said :) There's no official walkthrough (there is a wikia, but it's not consistently updated) but the community is very active over on the CK Discord server and are always happy to discuss secrets and side content :)
Got a question, will taking the artifact in the act two finale have any serious everlasting consequences? I really don't want to get too far in the game just to find out that I messed up on a good ending or missed out on content because of it.
Also this literally is the best NSFW game I've ever played. For the first time ever, I'm actually really interested in the story! I also can't get enough of the interactions with Lyx, it's soooo good. The only thing I wish for is more interactions with the kids in the daycare.
Hey, thanks for the kind words and I'm glad you're enjoying the game! :) I'd really like to do more wholesome scenes with the kids too, but it's an optional system that a lot of people turn off, and as a solo dev I have to be very careful with my time and try to give everyone as much content as possible every week :/
As for the relic, yes, it's an important decision. The game has given you hints throughout as to what the "correct" choice is, but even if you made the "wrong" one, you will be given a chance to remedy it if you explore Act Three carefully :)
It seems like that some data is persistent, even if you load an earlier savefile or start a new game. This comes up with Lyx's quest to read minds, with the mind-reading counter increased despite having loaded a save prior to the quest. Exploration points also have their Remember directions retained on a fresh playthrough.
Yeah, the first is a quirk of Ren;py (the underlying SDK) and the latter was to stop people complaining :P
Basically, the "Hidden Voices" skill has to use an extra "instance" of the game, so that players can use it without interrupting ongoing conversations or events. Unfortunately, the way Ren'py is designed, you can't pass standard variables across instances - you can only pass persistent variables. Hopefully this will change before CK is finished so I can redo the code.
As for remembering the exploration directions, that was because when the EXPLORE system was introduced it got a lot of complaints from people who didn't want to have to work for their content. So I made the events mostly appear automatically and the "remember" function permanent. The latter will be removed from the final build.
As I understand it, there has been a revision of Renpy that was a released - adding support for Python 3. Would updating CK to that version allow for correcting the quirk, among whatever else that plagues developers?
Anyhow, thanks for the response. It is good to see developers address bugs and commentaries, it makes me feel like reporting issues as I find them. Hopefully, I will (not) find issues, but will keep an eye out.
Found a bug. During loading, when earphone are plugged in, the game won't make any sound. If plugged in before launching the game or after loading it just works fine.
Not a bug with the game, but with the underlying software I'm afraid. For some reason it interacts very weirdly with certain earphones/headphones on certain devices. Nothing to be done about it unless the creator of Ren'py can track down the issue and fix it, sadly.
Well I'm a gigantic Legacy of Kain fan (LoK and Soul Reaver remakes when!?) so it wouldn't surprise me if some of that managed to seep out of my subconscious and into my work ;)
Keeping the filesize down is one of my top priorities :) All animations are in webm, almost all images in webp and I run the music and sound files through a compressor.
I'm hoping to keep the final build below 2GB - which is still larger than I'd like - as I know a lot of people struggle with slow or unreliable internet or have data caps.

It does, but Ren'py and Android sometimes don't play well together depending on the make and model of your phone and what OS version it's running.
If you provide a little more information on what exactly is going wrong someone might be able to help you.

You can install it without uninstalling it and you'd keep your saves on android. That's what I've been doing.
Yes, if you install the new APK on top of the old version then your saves will be kept and you can carry on where you left off :)

Game is good but i have a problem i need to reset my phone sometimes and all of my data gone so i need to repeat all the thing again im ok with that but the problem is prologue.(the part before we move to jessica's mansion) its very boring after repeating 8th time can we have a choice to skip it
There's no way to skip content, I'm afraid, as there's too many choices attached to too many variables which affects too many events. I'd suggest backing-up your save folder before each reset, if possible. You can find it here:

absolutely loving this game so far! there's so much content to get through and the replay value of each scene seems to flow nicely!
the only question i have is regarding the use of AURA on the classroom, i've maxed out my AUTHORITY level but when i use AURA on the class, the MC thinks 'that's as far as i can go right now with my level of authority, i'll have to increase it if i want to get away with more than this'
can i further increase my authority to go further with the class? or am i trying to activate a scene that isn't implemented yet?

The "That's as far..." thing is a leftover from before you could hit max authority. Sorry! I'll remove it for the next update. Thanks for letting me know!Actually, I just double-checked and if you've maxed out your Authority then using Aura does allow you naughty time. Tested on my machine and it works as intended. Are you sure you've maxed out your Authority? It's separate from your Education, and you have to "conquer" the three PTA Moms and then hold another PTA meeting.
Hi! yeah my Authority is maxed at 5, i've got full control of the school, conquered the 3 moms, changed the uniform to 'nude', maxed the education to 'best in the country', but still can't trigger anything when using Aura in the classroom.

Ahh, yeah - that would be the problem. Sorry, I always assume people are up to date :P The "naughty fun with Aura" was added in 0.15.3 (and CK is up to 0.16.6 now!) so you'll have to update.
You won't lose your saves or anything - the game automatically detects saves from previous versions. You just need to download, extract and play :)

Just gotta say, I love absolutely everything about this game, it's nearly perfect. I'm playing since 0.11 I believe and it's a really good game, very interesting story with a bunch of characters, a lot of diversity, kinda unpolished because it's not very intuitive but still great.
The summary of the new updates, the Typo hero story, the way you reply to the comments is really funny and I see you as a kind person that is interested in what your player base has to say.
Now, for my personal preferences, Jessica is absolutely adorable, my favorite, I remember you said she was going to kill Emma, (so glad you didn't put that). Really hope she gets more attention. (Or I'll have a breakdown if she's evil)
Asteria, my second favorite, beautiful design, queen of my eyes and has a cute kiddo.
Gwen, I didn't really liked her, yandere is not my thing but now she's my third favorite, a cute girl who is really (really) in love.
And so on, I don't want to bore anyone here so I'll stop but it's a great game.
Quick note: Madison and Veronica deserve more attention, Veronica over all; and all good girls deserve head pats.

I played so far in the newest version but when i try the fay lead it says i have everything but i cant confront the others like hana or ard they only tell me i have nothing against them so i wonder what im missing sins i alrdy used amis notebook so im a lil stuck there so a lil help would be nice thx.
If you read the evidence you've gathered then something should seem weird. Confront the person with the testimony that conflicts with theirs and they'll update their testimony. The updated testimony should conflict with someone else's, so confront that person, and so on :)

Im quite new to itch and am wondering, how do updates work? Do I need to download the whole game everytime?
If you already have the game installed, downloading the new version just updates it. You can also delete the old version once you've installed the new one.
If you're on PC, Mac or Linux and you have the Itch app then the game will download and install a patch for you. Once that's done, just play as normal!
If you're on PC, Mac or Linux and you're not using the Itch app, then download the update from one of the files above (as you did when you first downloaded the game), extract it to a fresh folder, delete the old folder and play!
If you're on Android then unfortunately you don't get patches even if you're on the Itch app. Download, extract if necessary (sometimes Itch bundles the APK in a zip) and install the new APK on top of the old one. DO NOT DELETE THE GAME!
In all cases, your saves will automatically be detected by the updated game :)

Arc, first of all, i want to say that since i discovered your game, in April of this year, i just can't find words to say how much i love it. It is absolutely the best porn/sex game i have ever played. Your work is just amazing.
But what's even more amzing is that you're still working on it and making it bigger and better every week. It just shows how much you love and care about your game and your comunnity.
And that is what led me to my question: Do you still have plans to add even more girls(Whether main or side), to the game in the act 3? Or it will it just be the end of the story with a few more events to the girls that are already in the game?
I won't lie to you, man! Im asking 'cause i really want to ask for you to consider adding a "robotic/android girl" to the game.
I know, i know. You must get lots of requests like this every month(fans asking for this or that kind of girl, scene or kink) but i needed to be sure that this idea came to in your mind at least once, cause i really feel that a character like thats could fit icredibly well in CK.
You may be familiar with the concept : "An AI in a robot body trying to understand the meaning of things like feelings, beauty and life, and which, interestingly, is also very hot and fuckable".
*I just need to make it clear that with "robot/android girl" im not talking about a normal girl with glowing eyes and lines in her skin. Im talking about a really robot like girl, like Aigis in persona 3, or Orianna in league of legends.
I really think it fits well in the game, it open doors to a lot of phylosofical, beatyful and even funny scenes, it will add a new kind of variety to the game besides humans and monster-girls, and it should not be that hard to do compared to the other monster girls that are in the game.
I can see how it can get a little bit similar to chloe's development, but i really feel that it can be explored in a whole new way, cause with Chloe's character you have a girl whos been brainwashed and is struggling with it, but with the "new character" you will have a whole new mind trying to undestand the world and you will guide that with your own heart... and maybe something else.
I m sorry if with this huge text and my totally sudden request i am being nothhing more than "that guy", but i really needed to try, thanks for reading it, and keep doing your amazing work.

Short version: "Uggggghhhhhh... probably."
Long version: I'm an idiot. Wait, no, that's also short. Damnit.
Okay, so I'm a solo dev and this is my first actual game. A lot of what I do is either "throw a lot of stuff at the wall and see what sticks" or "oh, this could be cool, I wonder if..." or "oh, I have a great idea for..."
Which is how the game has ended up with 17 main girls, 20+ side girls and over 30 one-shots. Which is too many girls, frankly, and a major reason why Act Two stalled out for so long - too much content to create for each character!
So I resolved to not add any more new characters to the game. And then I did it anyway. See "I'm an idiot" above.
I still have a lot of ideas for characters that I want to explore, though, and some requests that I'd love to be able to satisfy as well. And there are certain story beats and mechanics coming in Act Three that require new girls to be added.
Some ideas I've had, or been requested, that may or may not make it into the game:
1. Robot Girl (yes, this has been requested before and like you say it offers a unique perspective which would be fascinating to explore)
2. Doll girl (functionally the same as a Robot Girl, but magical rather than scientific)
3. Dragon Girl (it's a largely fantasy-themed game! Where are the dragons!?)
4. Slime Girl (same as Dragon Girl. Slimes! C'mon!)
5. Magical Girl(s) (because corrupting a team of magical girls sounds like fun)
6. Org/Fey/Edlritch warriors (this one almost certainly will make it in)
To name but a few off the top of my head.
So, yes, it's practically guaranteed that new girls will be added. And the thought makes me very, very tired ;)
Are sfx for lewd scenes ever gonna be added?
Probably not, as it would bug me to have the same "voice" making noises for each each girl, and giving each of them an individual "voice" would be extremely difficult and add a fair amount of size bloat to the game.
It is something on my "to consider" list for when the game is in its final stages, though. If I can find a good, free library (or get 20+ extremely helpful girls) and manage to compress everything down to what I feel is a reasonable number, then who knows?
Next game I make is going to be designed with voice acting in mind, for sure :)
I played up to scene where you are kidnapped in this game and immediately uninstalled. The description of the game of getting to choose who you get to be a hero or a villain, plus the choice of how you approach relationships with mind control powers really interested me.
However, the story keeps seeming to hammer in this idea of me being the hero, with concern about my family, the fairy and others. Making it very hard to just focus on being a villain.
That isn't to mention it seems like a majority of the game takes place after this scene, because I wanted to explore meet characters, build relationships, do all the things the game advertised I could do, but I had to wait for other events to trigger. It genuinely frustrated me, because all I wanted to do was play the game, but I kept having control and choices taken away with me.
Yes I understand that primarily, this is a visual novel, with RPG elements, but if your main selling point are how you get to make a choice and I don't get to make choices, it takes me out of the game.
The story is fantastic and it shouldnt be nearly as polished as it is, considering there's only 1 dev. But if you are just going to look down your nose at this game, then you'll be the one missing out.
I appreciate the sentiment, truly, and I'm glad you like the game! :) But it's not for everyone, and that's okay. I'm grateful if people try it, even if they don't like it, and constructive negative criticism is always useful - even if it's only to reaffirm the direction you've chosen to take.
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the game, but thank you for the feedback. All criticism, positive or negative, is useful - if only to see how different people perceive the same systems and characters. All of it helps me to refine my work!
That being said, I feel like a couple of points need to be cleared up, just for anyone else who may be reading and hasn't played yet:
1. The game never promises Hero/Villain routes. The description says that " you are the hero - or possibly villain - of this tale", which is talking about characters' (and even players') perception of your actions. After all, you're doing "the right thing" from your perspective, but in the process you're using mind control, framing people and actively working against people with different moral beliefs than yours. Are you a hero? Or are you just a villain with good motivations?
2. This is a heavily story- and character-based game. If you except, or desire, everything and everyone to be available to you from the very start then I'm afraid this certainly isn't the game for you. A side-effect of being heavily story-focused is that certain characters and events cannot happen simultaneously or in a "whatever" order or else the entire structure falls apart.
As a solo dev, I have to be incredibly careful with my time and so too many mechanics and too many choices are simply impossible, unless I want to be still working on CK ten years from now, and to have each update have half the content it currently does for each player (not many people want to play both a good and evil route).
I hope that clarifies things for people who are unsure about what this game is, and what it offers! To those who enjoy the game, and support it - either financially or simply through the incredibly touching messages you send me - I thank you from the bottom of my heart! And to those that don't, well, thank you for giving it a try! Fortunately the indie adult game market has never been stronger and there are so many gifted developers out there much more proficient than I am, so I'm sure you'll find your dream game out there somewhere.

Hello, if there a guide or checklist for all the side content? I know Act 3 is a point of no return and I want to make sure I haven't missed anything before I move on
I don't think there is no real checklist for the game, but you can romance all the girls and get max stats. Other than all of that, you can use the explore mechanic and find extra side girls for more scenes. Also the Act 2 finale isn't quite finished yet so I recommend having a save file prior to activating the finale so you can still go back.
What bloodnguts said :) There's no official walkthrough (there is a wikia, but it's not consistently updated) but the community is very active over on the CK Discord server and are always happy to discuss secrets and side content :)

Got a question, will taking the artifact in the act two finale have any serious everlasting consequences? I really don't want to get too far in the game just to find out that I messed up on a good ending or missed out on content because of it.
Also this literally is the best NSFW game I've ever played. For the first time ever, I'm actually really interested in the story! I also can't get enough of the interactions with Lyx, it's soooo good. The only thing I wish for is more interactions with the kids in the daycare.

As for the relic, yes, it's an important decision. The game has given you hints throughout as to what the "correct" choice is, but even if you made the "wrong" one, you will be given a chance to remedy it if you explore Act Three carefully :)

It seems like that some data is persistent, even if you load an earlier savefile or start a new game. This comes up with Lyx's quest to read minds, with the mind-reading counter increased despite having loaded a save prior to the quest. Exploration points also have their Remember directions retained on a fresh playthrough.
Yeah, the first is a quirk of Ren;py (the underlying SDK) and the latter was to stop people complaining :P
Basically, the "Hidden Voices" skill has to use an extra "instance" of the game, so that players can use it without interrupting ongoing conversations or events. Unfortunately, the way Ren'py is designed, you can't pass standard variables across instances - you can only pass persistent variables. Hopefully this will change before CK is finished so I can redo the code.
As for remembering the exploration directions, that was because when the EXPLORE system was introduced it got a lot of complaints from people who didn't want to have to work for their content. So I made the events mostly appear automatically and the "remember" function permanent. The latter will be removed from the final build.

As I understand it, there has been a revision of Renpy that was a released - adding support for Python 3. Would updating CK to that version allow for correcting the quirk, among whatever else that plagues developers?

Found a bug. During loading, when earphone are plugged in, the game won't make any sound. If plugged in before launching the game or after loading it just works fine.
Not a bug with the game, but with the underlying software I'm afraid. For some reason it interacts very weirdly with certain earphones/headphones on certain devices. Nothing to be done about it unless the creator of Ren'py can track down the issue and fix it, sadly.

Keeping the filesize down is one of my top priorities :) All animations are in webm, almost all images in webp and I run the music and sound files through a compressor.
I'm hoping to keep the final build below 2GB - which is still larger than I'd like - as I know a lot of people struggle with slow or unreliable internet or have data caps.
