how do you get passed the second computer section? im really stuck because one set of the hollographic floor panels changes way too fast for me to move past them even when sprinting. is that supposed to be happening and am i able to change the speed at which the tiles change color or am i just hard locked out of the rest of the game?
I can assure you we haven't made a situation in which you're just hard locked out of the rest of the game. Do have a little faith in us, haha.
I'm going to assume it's this area that you're struggling with:
If so, you should know that the white spots are safe to stand on. And if you're having trouble navigating to them quickly enough, you can also use mouse-click controls to directly travel to a particular spot.
yeah i finally got passed it after another ten tries using the clicking controls and with always sprinting turned on being sure to save after reaching each safe platform because managing to get the timing right was a real pain. so thanks, i'd kinda forgotten about the mouse-clicking controls until you brought them up lol.
The blue chest clue says "You leave the bandit hideout, but with souvenir in tow... You decide to leave this with another, until they have the necessary tools and amount of time to repair it."
And the clue in the green box in the slime memories says "There is a puddle of green slime sticking to the top of this memory... You see visions of a distant cliffside lake and overbearing black thong on your groin."
It requires you to be caught by the bandit lizards, and then to escape and retrieve your clothes. You'll get some "tatters" that you can take to the blacksmith... and then he'll eventually turn them into a new set of armour for you!
You'd have to go back to an old save in order to unlock this, though... so if you don't wanna go through all the hassle, I can say there'll be an alternative way to acquire this one in the future!
As for the green chest:
You need to be wearing the slimy black underwear, acquired by rescuing the blue-scaled ranger in the forest near the start of the game. So you may also need to go back to an earlier save.
Whilst wearing them, proceed to the East / right, past all the green slimes... until a scene occurs!
You can start a new game, or go back to an old save, and the scenes you unlock will be unlocked in your gallery. So don't worry, you don't need to play the entire game again.
To finish my search for memories, I only need the one that says "Something thick, yet pleasure grapples onto your privates, and the only clear way to remove it... is to submerge."

Simply amazing. Really just destroys the stereotype of RPGmaker games. Just finished the story content and I am dying to see more. I will say, and it is a pipe dream, but hearing a female mentioned, even once in the game has me hopeful for some of that content :P but the art and writing is so good that I am thoroughly enjoying the content and genres already present. Can't wait to see what other crazy stuff gets added.

As for females... I'm afraid you shouldn't get your hopes up for female sexual content. There MIGHT be a lady NPC in there, but all the lewd stuff is gonna be focused on dudes, I'm afraid!
i love the game but after having played 3 hours and later losing my progres due to a change of device i was kinda bummed out. can u maybe add something like a chapter skip or a pick off from this chapter or event option ? i just dont wish to go through the entire 3 hours again

There aren't any companions that you command in the game... yet. But there are a few moments where you'll travel alongside folks, and maybe there'll be some instances in the future...!

They've mentioned in the Discord server that the game is roughly 50% done, maybe 40% but I might be wrong.
Also the curse undergarments is only active in the forest area. Once you leave the forest they become inert. So just put it on right after you save the ranger. You'll get a scene for trying to leave the forest as well as another scene for figuring out how to take it off.
After that you can give it to the Wizard at the Inn to purify it for personal use.
And if the game is really only 50% -40% ready, this is of course still a very long time. But I hope the author has the strength to finish it, as this is a rather interesting product, albeit for a very narrow circle of people

I wanna play it badly, sadly it doesn't support android, so I just wanted to ask whether there will be a android ver in the future, just askin. Since by looking at the games sample image of the games content seems good ngl... So will there be one or no?
I really can't make any promises. The various plugins we use for both visuals and game systems don't jive with android emulation. We'd have to figure out ways to work around this, and the game would be quite gimped in terms of its content...

OK, first thing's first, make sure you have gconf installed, RPG Maker uses that. This miiiiight make it work.
If that doesn't work... then we might need to get a bit more technical. I'll do my best to walk you through it, but tomorrow since it's late right now.

Good news: You don't have to pay money or restart your entire game just to get a scene you missed in the gallery. We've already implemented a feature that allows you to unlock scenes you missed by going 'back in time' with an old save.
Just load up an old save and go check out the mimic scene. Make sure that you have enough Stamina so you don't get a Game Over, and you'll unlock the scene in the gallery in your most recent save!
Hi, love the game tons! But I'm a bit stuck. I've been playing the game and just can't really finish it because it won't let me save?? Whenever I try, it makes a loud errorlike beeping noise.

Well, my first suggestion when it comes to saving issues is to double-check that you properly extracted / unzipped the game when you downloaded it. The game won't properly save if you're playing it out of the compressed folder... so do double check that.
If you've already done that... does the game give you an error message at all? Or your computer for that matter? What operating system are you running the game on? Gonna need some more details to try and work this out...
The game runs smoothly otherwise, and I'm on Windows. It's properly extracted although I do have some files put in from previous versions of the game and ik I put them in according to the tutorial and everything. It doesn't give me an error message or anything, just beeps like that sound when you input some kinda wrong answer to something lmao.
Hey there, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It's not perfect, but we might have a solution for you:
Our best guess is somehow the game's global save file has become corrupted. In this case, the best thing to do is go to the folder you've saved the game in, cut and paste your numbered saves and 'persistent' save file elsewhere so they're backed up, then delete the current version of the game and redownload it again from this website.
You should then be able to copy your backed up saves into the new game's files and continue as you were...!
Where did you put the game directory? Because you can load the files, but can't rewrite / generate new ones, I'm assuming you've placed it in a location with restricted access. Try putting it on your desktop if you haven't already, and run from there. Otherwise, see if running the game in administrative mode will help
Heya, I've just found the game and tried it out, but now I'm stuck. In the sand valley underground bunker virtual reality, after disabling the second barrier, I can't pass the long stretch, bc even with running I can't reach a safe tile. Maybe the two turns make me too late? I've been trying a couple dozen times, but no dice, so I gave up for now. Am I missing a trick?? Other than that I've enjoyed the characters and quests so far and the overall tone of the narrative is cute. Thank you for sharing it!
Is this the spot you're referring to, by any chance? If so, those white areas are safe spots that you can navigate to, so you don't have to do it all in one go!
If you're having trouble getting to them, you can also use mouse-click navigation! Give it a shot if you're struggling at all.

I really enjoyed the game! Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of RPG due to the fact that I poorly navigate the maps and often can not find the right passage to the location.
And because of this problem I have a question. How do I get to the southern regions to help the veteran group? ( I have not yet passed the bridge in the north). Thanks in advance for the help.
From the Quiet Meadow's Inn, you wanna head straight downwards, and then go all the way to the left! You'll end up back at the cliffside you started the game at... and there'll be a path further to the south that'll take you to where the veteran's group have gone!

Hi, I wanted to apologize to any discord mod/admin who received a scam message from my account. I got hacked last month and they blocked anyone I previously started a chat with. Other than that, they sent a discord link to a server made solely to hack whoever joined it. I managed to recover my account, but now I can no longer enter the Grove discord server.
Something's wrong with the Mac OS version. At the start of the game when it asks you if you want voices or not, choosing either of them will give me an error message.
I don't think it'd cause any real issues in terms of programming, but I also don't think it'd add much in the way of challenge either? The armour sets (and weapon choices) are our soft implementation of a "class" system, so none of them should really make the game harder... besides I guess if you started naked.
Maybe a NG+ option, but that's a long way in the future, haha.
I know linux version of it is still experimental so I just wanna say it is all black screen . . . The visual up to date is missing to say the least however the game still works I suppose, I can still hear its audio when I click buttons ( e.g. arrows, enter). I do hope it will be fixed soon <3
In case just restarting the game doesn't fix it and if you're willing to do a bit of surgery on the game files:
This could be an incompatibility between the old version of NW.js that comes with RPG Maker MV and a newer graphics stack on your system, since the former is effectively an old Chromium from 2018. The good news is that it's not customised, so you can download the "NORMAL" version from nwjs.io and extract it over the matching files in the GROVE… folder to update.
That's largely a guess though. I'm mainly suggesting it because it fixed hardware acceleration for me on Linux, but the game was already rendering for me regardless, even if slowly.
Just had to stop by and say this game is utterly wonderful. There really is nothing like it that I know of; Chimeric Violet has elements of submission and it *IS* a great game, but it's also CREEPY-AS-HELL😰
DO I hope slavers are added akin to the terrifically made/written bandit sequence? YES
DO I hope spiders are added while understanding full well they're not for everyone? YES
DO I really care deeply about either of those things? NOPE, not when I completely trust the vision of the game! Please keep at it!

I just bring a Letcher to the final fight against Jaler! LOL!
I start to bring it when I fight against Hollow, the Letcher was teleported out the jungle with me, and I just walk to the desert.
DO NOT be bound by the Warps! Jaler can also kill the Letcher when he is trying to help you to cut off the bondage.

For that one, you need to have the 'latcher plants' from the jungle on you. Just one will do.
And then you need to take a dip in one of the cleansing pools that are scattered across the jungle...!

Sorry to hear you lost a chunk of progress.
As the game gets longer and we add more updates, we might see if we can add the ability to skip to the start of the most recent update.
In the meantime though, you'll have to replay. No need to rush, just leave it alone for a few days and revisit it when you're more in the mood.

That's most likely because you didn't extract the game before running it. You need to do that, or your saves won't write.

For some reason it still won't work and I did precisely that! My saves are there and I can load them, but I can't save.

In the sand valley underground bunker virtual reality, after disabling the second barrier, I can't pass the long stretch, bc even with running I can't reach a safe tile. Maybe the two turns make me too late? I've been trying a couple dozen times, but no dice, so I gave up for now. Am I missing a trick?? Other than that I've enjoyed the characters and quests so far and the overall tone of the narrative is cute. Thank you for sharing it!
Is this the spot you're referring to, by any chance? If so, those white areas are safe spots that you can navigate to, so you don't have to do it all in one go!
If you're having trouble getting to them, you can also use mouse-click navigation! Give it a shot if you're struggling at all.

I really enjoyed the game! Despite the fact that I'm not a fan of RPG due to the fact that I poorly navigate the maps and often can not find the right passage to the location.
And because of this problem I have a question. How do I get to the southern regions to help the veteran group? ( I have not yet passed the bridge in the north). Thanks in advance for the help.
From the Quiet Meadow's Inn, you wanna head straight downwards, and then go all the way to the left! You'll end up back at the cliffside you started the game at... and there'll be a path further to the south that'll take you to where the veteran's group have gone!

Something's wrong with the Mac OS version. At the start of the game when it asks you if you want voices or not, choosing either of them will give me an error message.

I.e. the fix is to first unarchive the game, and then move the game files again, using Finder. That seems to clear some quarantine flag.

Any chance of adding a mode where you can choose your armor from the start? to add a challenge, or would that cause too many issues for the game?
I don't think it'd cause any real issues in terms of programming, but I also don't think it'd add much in the way of challenge either? The armour sets (and weapon choices) are our soft implementation of a "class" system, so none of them should really make the game harder... besides I guess if you started naked.
Maybe a NG+ option, but that's a long way in the future, haha.
I know linux version of it is still experimental so I just wanna say it is all black screen . . . The visual up to date is missing to say the least however the game still works I suppose, I can still hear its audio when I click buttons ( e.g. arrows, enter). I do hope it will be fixed soon <3
In case just restarting the game doesn't fix it and if you're willing to do a bit of surgery on the game files:
This could be an incompatibility between the old version of NW.js that comes with RPG Maker MV and a newer graphics stack on your system, since the former is effectively an old Chromium from 2018.
The good news is that it's not customised, so you can download the "NORMAL" version from nwjs.io and extract it over the matching files in the GROVE… folder to update.
That's largely a guess though. I'm mainly suggesting it because it fixed hardware acceleration for me on Linux, but the game was already rendering for me regardless, even if slowly.
Just had to stop by and say this game is utterly wonderful. There really is nothing like it that I know of; Chimeric Violet has elements of submission and it *IS* a great game, but it's also CREEPY-AS-HELL😰
DO I hope slavers are added akin to the terrifically made/written bandit sequence? YES
DO I hope spiders are added while understanding full well they're not for everyone? YES
DO I really care deeply about either of those things? NOPE, not when I completely trust the vision of the game! Please keep at it!
