Everything is handled by me, which is why the audio and music is lacking in certain areas. I plan on an update which will add music to many story events and locations.
I might be wrong I think they mean that when you hug, kiss or pat them it doesn't count towards edging them. Feel free to correct me Lebauski (at least not that is obvious, such as a message like she seems to be getting excited)
Hi, is it normal that in the newest version of the game (15) ellen keeps disappearing from her counter? I can see her when i enter the lobby but when I try to click on her there is a dialogue: 'shes not here or in her room' Will she eventually come back or is it a bug :(?
They've been implemented for quite some time. When the game says "___ (name) is ready to be picked up", go do that. The place they are living in sucks, after all, best not to leave them waiting.
Go to front door (door icon at bottom of screen, red door in game) and click it. Like you did to check for kaili hard drive or presents when you mess up. You'll get the option to pick them up.

On PC or on Android? If on Android follow the tutorial on this page get Joiplay and renply addon from Google Play store then install them fill out game name version and pick from the Harem Hotel folder the .exe file.
The game is absolutely amazing, the only thing I'd want to see more from it though would be Kate, she's the type of side character I really like. And although not one of the main girls, I'd still love more of her, and I mean it in a story point. This game gets a 5 star from me though
I will be frank, as an ADULT visual novel, this game suck, I hasn't turned me on once after 21 hours gameplay, the NSFW scenes are bland, their scenarios are very interesting but the art styles, the models, the dialogs, ....... are VERY, VERY repetitive, the only character that has changed this slightly is the Android and I must emphasize that it is mainly due to her nature as an android
On the other hand, as a purely visual novel, this is a fucking masterpiece. I tried this game with a lot of expectations, mainly because this is the highest rated adult game on itch.io, I expected a lot and I was disappointed with the NSWF scenes but I was blown away by the interactions between the characters, how they developed, how they started as obvious cliches and grown into real persons with real goals, values and personalities
I wasn't expected the game to address social issues like bullying, racism, slavery, ..... and surprisingly, those issues were portraited very good without causing cringy situations or making the player to feel uncomfortable ( unlike some triple-A games recently ), that's a very huge plus

And you would be right, this isn't a great porn game because it doesn't focus on porn. It's an Adult Visual Novel, which most Adults Only games are not.
Long story short. After investing a lot of time, I finally finished the current build.
At first, I had a great time, because it played very much like most dating games and I had a lot of fun, looking forward to the next time I could play.
However, after some time following the stories of all girls, the game turns into something completely different and focuses on politics, religion and corporations and even adds more heavy topics to slavery, like revolution, genocide and mental illness.
With all the heavy stuff going on, the story became a choir to read. Rarely nice moments happen in the end as everything gets overshadowed by all the problems the characters have. The story often gets extremely depressing or feels dull and is in the end not the same as it was for the first hours, where it was all about dating cute girls.
At the same time there is actually little romance. Romance scenes are quite short while drama keeps on going without an end, which is really sad.
I’m not sure if I want to play more of this game if it’s 95% drama and when something nice actually is happening I’m so depressed that I’m not in the mood for that anymore.
While the game is called Harem Hotel, there are not many harem activities in the end after completing the dating and romance part with the individual girls.
I personally loved the Adult content. I found it well drawn and well done, a bit unsettling with Ashley's first time.. (since guy too can be Raped) that said since the MC didn't care I guess it was fine. In RL though that was some messed up stuff.
If you want to see a game that is "NSFW bland" and repetitive then look at itty bitty kitty committee. That is how I would describe that. This game has lots and lots of choices and covers at least a few fetishes. If that's all you care about there is a game with no real "action" but it covers almost every fetish. Including vore and furry however there are literally nothing more then a picture representing you, a picture representing your enemy and lots of text. It's called lust doll Plus this game is far better for graphics and story that one is better for quantity of fetishes.
Hi, I really think it would be great if were offered two download variants: an HD (like current download) and a "compressed" version (same images, without HD or 4K resolution). This would make easier for people who don't either have HD screen nor a super strong internet connection. Is it possible?
The game is already compressed down by 90%, the best that can be done without notable image quality loss. Fans sometimes do further compressions, usually to get it below 2gB so they can make it an .apk for easier installation on android. Of course, these aren't official due to the severe quality loss. Last I know of was v0.14 though, hopefully someone else has a v0.15 version for you, and future versions when available.

1. There is no doubt that the characters are really well written. But the main character feels kinda useless in this story. In every major story event the girls make all the decisions and the main character just stands there and listen. It's like he is just there to have sex and nothing else. If the main character is supposed to represent the player then I want to be a part of the story as well. I am not asking for different choices and branching storylines. I just want the main character to have impactful dialogue during major story events.
2. Thig game is huge! It took me almost 50 hours to complete v 0.15. But it really need more music. The main BackGround Music (BGM) is good and relaxing. But it's extremely overplayed. The music does change when I go to bar but that's it. Also the bar has 7/8 different BGM to choose from but the main game has only one!? Also playing the same BGM in every situation slightly breaks the immersion. Especially in later story events like Ashley's or Maria's.
1. You're confusing the Main Character with the Player, they are not the same thing. The Main Characters are advertised on this page. They are Lin, Kali, Ashley, Maria, Android, Felicity, Emma, and Autumn, with another on the way.
However the player controls a character who is not the center of the story, rather the player character plays a supportive role and is narrative vehicle to push the story forward. The player character is not the hero, the women are.
2. You can change the radio in the pause menu, I recommend Chill City but there are multiple radio stations for you to choose from. This has been in the game for about a year now I think.
I am planning on a music update eventually! I'll be going back and adding music to most events and giving themes to stuff like dates and such.

Android handjob: Set her as your alarm (or if you've unlocked her alternate form, Lust event 6/9, choose Ashley option). Lin footjob: Kitchen, any morning except Tuesday/Wednesday, tell her to put on her apron.

Scenes are pre-rendered, meaning every alternate outfit is a duplicate scene, and again for cum covered options. The game exploded in size when Runey added dates in varying outfits in v0.14, and again with added outfits for sex scenes in v0.15.
I know that Runey said no, but Android kind of has something like that (Talking about femdom play) and there's one scene where the android takes charge (The scene is optional, you can skip the event altogether by not engaging with the Android malfunction).
The character models aren't publicly available at the moment. I was considering buying a 3D printer to make and paint them myself to sell for those interested. It's quite a bit of work though, and I'm not sure how many would be interested.
If you're able to do so without the models, go ahead. Would love to see them posted in the discord :)
After seeing how ridicously popular the game was while looking into this genre for the 1st time, I finally decided to give it a try last week: and I am HOOKED!!! I'm laughing, gasping, and even shed a tear during certain storylines, and I cannot wait till the pregnancy update! How many days are there left, John????? I have three seperate saves, and each of them are different and I love that in every game that I play.
Used the v15 upgrade, load save in "congrats! you have finished Helen's story!" then "congrats! you have finished Sylvia's story!" Then crash. Can't revert. Thinking about it now, I'm going to try to download v14 again, save in a different place, then try again.

Yeah, that seems to have fixed it. Just went to the bedroom, saved again, switched back to the v15 upgrade, and it works. I get the same text when I go to the lobby, but no crash anymore.

Friendly bit of advice, buy and upgrade the bar as soon as you can. You will need a LOT of money to advance all storylines, and the bar is probably one of the best money makers in the game. Do yourself a favor and don't put it off.
No kidding. My place at the moment runs me a little over $900 a month just for rent in a shitty little town. That doesn't include any of the rest of my bills.

Freestyle mode has the same effect as any other sex. You get sex points.
Edging them during lust events also has a lot of content behind it.

Download the zip and extract the Harem Hotel v0.15.1 file to your desktop.
Open the Harem Hotel v0.15.1 file and double click Harem_Hotel.exe

Aside from the minimize button being faster, you could also click ALT+TAB to quickly swap to another window.

i love the storyline so far, and the girls. but...
kinda wish more could be done with the elves you {purchased}/ saved! overall i loved re-playing it.

They'll have more repeatable sex scenes, but they are low on the list of priorities.

Unless you're on an android device, moving your save is what broke it. You're not supposed to touch it.
