Suggestion for update: let us see settings of each server (e. g. voting time, speed, cooldown etc. ) by right-click on server's name. I leave quickly often when i see bad settings for me, e. g. over 60 voting time.

If a person releases their game for free, and has no Patreon, it means this person cannot gain money from their game because either it's a very basic and very short game, or because they're not popular enough.
It's sad, but it's true. Do not think they're just "generous", there are a lot of things to take into account.
Because there's no point in complaining that the game is not free when :
- The game is free on Android/iOS, so you could just get it on your phone or use an Android emulator ;
- The game is only 5$. This is absolutely cheap for what it is.
With that in mind, it's quite clear that people that are complaining about the game not being free are either kids, or people who just don't give a fudge about the devs' needs. (and those people may also be kids.)

If you don't want to pay for the game but you want to play it, play the Mobile version on your phone, or on Bluestacks. By doing so, you'll support the devs by viewing shorts 5 seconds ads between each round. Keep in mind you won't have as much cosmetics as on PC, unless you pay for them. You can also remove ads on Mobile by paying 4$, which is the same price you would pay to have the game on PC.
But don't pirate the PC version. You're not supporting the devs by doing this.

Any chance for game modes? or setting pre-sets if not? .. I've gotten hooked on playing hide-n-seek rules but the issue is people join without paying attention so they are always messing it up :)
So a hide-n-seek mode would disable reporting and it would also alert players who the "Seeker/Imposter" is .. among other things ..
Anxious to play without all the crap though, that's obviously a priority for most of us ( except the hackers )
one other thing I'm extremely curious about.. people can report you with this update..

There's always the potential for abuse when reporting is there so I am SURE you thought it through on how to prevent that.
I have a problem. Yesterday I was playing Among Us and everything was OK. I opened UnityCrashHandler.exe (because there was a problem with Among Us, bunch of errors in the game), and nothing happened. Today I saw in Reilability Monitor that Among Us.exe has stopped working, and the fault module was UnityPlayer.dll. I don't know how that happened yet.
I had a glitch where the max player count was 128, then the game started, and everyone was impostor, but my kill button wasn't working, but everyone else's was
Had someone ruin a great server last night.. came in with colors changing, name changes, walking through walls, venting and all sorts of other stuff going on..
Hackers are ruining this game.. the guy ran in commenting TRUMP 2020 and then just went nuts with the hacks
Oh, yeah, I remember ! They recently removed ads for a time because some people were getting unappropriate ads. They will enable them again some day, but until then, there are no ads on mobile.
Although, some people say they never got ads since the game released in 2018. There are reports that the ads sometimes never trigger.
How do i even update this thing? I cannot play because it keeps telling me it needs to be updated. Yet there is no option anywhere to update? What in the rip off??

You can't open your game? These instructions are all I know for now:
PC: Unzip the folder and open this file; C:\Users\(your pc username)\Downloads\among-us-windows\AmongUs
If no UnityPlayer.dll file exists within the folder or the folder is zipped, the game won't start.
Mobile: Download the game from your device's app store and open it once the game is downloaded to your mobile hardware.

It is NOT free on Steam and Nintendo Switch. On those platforms, the game costs the same price as on Itch.io

I paid for the game, and I enjoy it. The game is free on Mobile because it contains ads, but you cannot put ads on a PC game.
Developers need to eat, you know. So, they need the money. Also, the game is really cheap and has a 20% discount right now.
