Build a game where virtual companions live their lives while you're away. We're hunting for systems that create meaningful bonds between players and digital creatures that grow, evolve, and surprise even when you're not watching.

Inspiration: Think Tamagotchi meets Cookie Clicker, Neopets meets Stardew Valley—but make it uniquely yours with modern AFK mechanics and AI enhancements.

Core Requirements:

🐾 AFK mechanics are at the heart of your game—progress continues while away 
🎯 Virtual pet/companion system with meaningful care mechanics 
⏰ Minimum 3 AFK progression systems (feeding, training, exploration, etc.) 
 🤯 At least one "holy shit" moment that catches players off-guard 
🤖 At least one AI enhanced element or mechanic
🗣️ It must be accessible in English 
🚀 It must have the potential to scale to a full length game

• Solo artists or squads up to 5
• Any tech stack, any approach
• Must be 18+ 
• Game can be hosted on itch or externally with a playable link
• Game design doc not required, but encouraged
• No hate speech, no adult content. Keep it PG.
