Welcome to the joint game jam between the Game Developers Clubs of UMD, AACC, and UMBC!

This is a very lax, non-competitive game Jam.  Whether it may be your first time ever at developing a game, or you're a game dev supreme master, this Jam is open to competitors of all experience levels.

For more information, and questions you might have, please join the official jam Discord server! https://discord.gg/pTSSyK6

[--RULES--]

  1. You may work by yourself or as a group
    1. Note: Please limit your teams to 8 people MAXIMUM
  2. You may use whatever free assets or templates you may own for this jam.  However, please put more effort into your game than just "reskinning" assets (you must show to some degree that your team designed the game).
  3. Please submit your build as a Windows build by 5 PM on Sunday, 5 PM ET.
  4. Please list your school (UMBC, UMD, AACC) on your submissions.

If you are new to game Jams, it is recommended looking here to take a look at free resources that are available.

[--GUIDELINES--]

Your game does not need to lie within the bounds of the Theme.  It can be about any topic you want.  Unlike other game Jams, the theme is just there to give you an idea.

Many of you we know may be making your first game.  For those who are not quite that familiar with how to do so, don't fret too much about how far you go.  We know time limits can be super stressful, and you're already students with enough on your plate after all.

It is always ok to borrow ideas, assets, or anything from outside resources.  You do not need to make everything from the ground up.

UMBC students will have an round of voting on 9/25 outside of the Game Jam, for proceeding onwards with the semester.

[--PRIZES--]

There are no prizes. The prizes are the friends you made along the way. :)

NOTE: Please do not include non-compliant brand placement inside all game media.  If you are a UMD student and you include Coca Cola product inside of your game, we will alert the authorities.
