After years of the low frequency of homebrew games releasing on the PSP, down to a couple of games a year, we decided something had to be done about it. The PSP used to be famous for the abundance of forums that hosted game jams. Now almost all of those forums are dead, and game jams are almost nowhere to be found. Hoping to solve the problem of game releases, we want to host game jams. If this game jam will be successful, we can host a game jam every month. That way, games will release much more often.

If you are a developer, you are welcome to participate in the game jam. We do not have any restrictions, you can make a game on any theme, any size, and even on any platform the PSP can emulate. Further jams will be with different themes, but for now we let the developers' ideas go free for a start. If you decide to participate, come to our homebrew PSP server. You can get a channel on the server devoted to your game, in which you can share updates, answer questions about the game.
