GAME JAM EXTENSION!

I realized it would be a travesty if we didn't extend the jam until Halloween! Also what kind of itchio game jam would this be if we didn't have a sudden generous extension at the last minute? - Rae

I put together this game jam to celebrate the imminent release and crowdfunding campaign for the TTRPG Apocalypse Keys, but really, I just wanted an excuse to see folks create monsters and apocalypses and have fun! So let's make some TTRPGs and game stuff, yeah?

So! What themes are we looking at?

• Monsters based on folklore you're familiar with, or that push back against harmful stereotypes
• Monsters of your own making
• A chance for players to play the role of monsters
• Monstrous queerness ❤

• Apocalypses, in all its forms and flavors! Big and explosive, emotional and quiet, have at it!
• Apocalypses, ones we stand together to hold back!
• Apocalypses, ones we summon to tear apart this world!
• Apocalyptic relationships oh yes! ❤

Want something a little more specific that lines up with the delicious themes of Apocalypse Keys? How about: powerful monsters that may become the harbingers of the apocalypse, should they falter or lose faith in each other.

• TTRPGs using your own unique system
• TTRPGs based on established systems (PbtA, FitD, Macchiato Monsters,  etc)
• Game materials and supplements (setting materials, fun tables, whatever you like!) for existing games, existing systems, or no systems at all heck yeah whatever you like!
• Lyric Games, Ritual Games, Games That Are Not Games, heeeeeck yes!

• Any submissions containing or encouraging bigotry and hatred will be removed from the jam.
