Creepy atmosphere. A bit hard to understand what to do.Also, nice jumpscare :)

Nice atmospheric game.

What I like :

  • Atmosphere
  • Jump scare
  • Music/SFX

What could be improved :

  • I wandered too much to find that we need to use [SPACE] to enter somewhere. (So I suggest you to add it in the page description for future tester.)
  • Walk animation

Hope it helps

Developer

Thank you for the insite I added the Space prompt to the description. The prompt does appear in game but the lighting makes it hard to see so I understand.

Ok. I checked it, and effectively there is something behind the character but even knowing what it is, i can't read it.

Very atmospheric. I just wish you could toggle the flashlight on and off.

Really great core gameplay you have here! The world building and mood really help create a great experience. That dang E-522 monster scared me good the first time! I think the audio levels on it could come down a bit. If there's one thing I would suggest changing though it would be to make the gameplay pause while reading/interacting with things. Several of the times I died it was while I was trying to read  text. Good job overall though!

Developer

Thank you sm for the review. I wanted you to be tense when reading the docs like reading 2 or 3 lines then checking the surroundings before going back to reading but I probably should have made it pause the game.

This game was a great experience, I liked the atmosphere and the LORE. Although it was

Challenging  I managed to get the secret ending and was 100 percent worth it. There is some encrypted stuff I did not understand maybe someone else would.

Developer

Thank you so much. Glad to hear that someone found the secret ending I thought finding it might get challenging.

Really great atmosphere

The atmosphere and world building was great, but I wasn't able to get past the part in the basement where the white entities are flying at you and you turn on a light switch. After several attempts of the chase before and being attacked by the chase creature while under the light, I found it very frustrating. A good, creative story though.

Sorry about that. Turning the switch on blocks the entity chasing you. The white ones are supposed to be delt with your flashlight. Dashing might help too!

I'll give it another try later tonight and see if I can get it, I think my issue was that if you use the flashlight while the other light is on, the entity can get under the light

Developer(+1)

yeah don't do that and you should be golden the light collision gets all messed up when its doubled. Again sorry about that

It's cool, what's a jam game without a major bug, right?
