The theme for this year's edition is:

“At the brink”

Welcome to the second edition of inkJam!

This is a community organised 3 days gamejam where everybody uses ink, a narrative engine made by inkle studio.
The jam will run from September 20th, 9PM CEST to September 23rd, 9PM CEST.
The theme will be revealed when the jam starts.

Can I enter?
Of course, anyone is welcome to enter.

Can we enter as a team?
Submissions are accepted whether you are working alone or in teams.

What engine can I use?
You can develop your entry in any engine and for any platform you want. The only limitation is to use the ink runtime to some extents.
If you don't know a lot about ink yet, you will find a list of tools, integrations and wrapper you could use here.

What language should I write in?
You can write your game in any language you want. Though you should keep in mind the games will be judged by the general public so a game written in English might be more easily voted on than a game written in French or Italian.

Can I use content I didn't create during the jam?
You can use some content made outside of this jam as long as you have the legal right to use it. However your narrative content must be written during the jam.

How are the games being judged?
The general public will judge submitted entries from September 23rd, 9PM CEST to October 4th, 9PM CEST. The games will be judged on the following criteria: Narration, Originality and Overall Feeling.

Where can I get help or more information?
The community tab is probably a good place to start.
You can join the inkle Discord where you'll find channel dedicated to this jam.
If needed, feel free to reach me on Twitter.

Any other rule I should know about?
Hateful comments, language or visuals won't be tolerated both in the community tab and in the games made for inkJam.

Please have fun and make some great games!
