Reminds me a lot of a flash game i used to play a lot, called "Swords & Souls" for some reason ;P
It does not directly relate to the topic, but if we assume that you have done everything alone, even from the beginning, then you deserve respect.
It took me a while to understand the archers waiting, but then it was quite fun.
