The player can only kill enemies with traps. And these traps can only be activated by hitting them with a projectile.

You defintiely get points for originality! I liked the idea of using traps to kill enemies, but I found that the actual effectiveness of the traps was kind of lacking. I think the problem is that new enemies spawn in and walk right up to you as the trap is still activated which makes it seem like it deosn’t work. The enemies just clip right through it.

The camera controls felt very stiff and awkward which made it difficult to shoot the switches. I also don’t think the buttons for the traps were positioned properly for you to be able to shoot them. You basically had to put yourself in the way of the trap to activate it! Even though the traps didn’t actually harm you, it felt weird and they probably should have done damage to you.

I also wish you’d implemented the hyplay integration so I could submit my score. I managed to get 3000 and I was very proud of it

The idea of killing enemies with one shot by shooting to activate traps fits the theme well and is very original. The camera movement when showing the traps being activated was also cool. Unfortunately, the controls are not cool, which harms the experience.

The camera controls are horrendous but the concept of hitting enemies with traps is otherwise quite engaging and original !
The little cutscenes to show the traps' effects are interesting but have lead me to my death a few times lol

The traps are really fun idea.
I tend to get hit by enemies when the trap animation is playing.
Otherwise, it's a nice game.

This concept is quite cool!

I loved the camera animation for when traps were activated.

The controls were a bit rough for me - the mouse sensitivity was high so it was hard to aim.

I also would have preferred if I could activate a trap from any angle

With the sound effects, and some particles/juice for when enemies are killed, I think this game would be very satisfying.

Congrats on your submission!

Wow, what a difficult game lol. Excellent. The controls are very crazy. But the idea of not being able to attack enemies directly was very interesting. Congratulations

Cool original idea to use traps instead of directly shooting enemies.
The character’s camera controls could use some tweaks, and the switch to the trap’s POV can be a bit disorienting. Keep up the great work! :)

This 'Indirect' killing is a cool concept, It reminded me of fortnite's spike trap kills for some reason haha! I don't know if you ran out of time or this was the final submission but good core system to build on !

Hi, congratulations on your game! When I first started playing, I was really confused, especially with the system of looking back, which made the camera feel inverted. I think the camera and shooting mechanics could be improved—sometimes I’d try to shoot, and nothing would happen. But honestly, I really liked your game! It’s something very original that I hadn’t seen before. The idea of having to lure enemies into a trap is really cool. Once again, congratulations on your game, I really had fun playing it!
