very cool plateformer, looks a like a bit of celeste in a way ! I ha ve a question about the utiltiy of the heart ? The gameplay was very smooth, i like the squash effect you have when you jump and the bounce effect when you shoot, super cool to increase your move rang, overall it's a super polished game !!

Not a bad game, holds a very similar vibe and feel to celeste. The character movement is snappy albeit a bit on the quick side.

A few points of feedback:

Text is slow and clicking skips the entire box instead of filling the box first. Due to how slow it is and no way to just instantly fill the text out I found myself just skipping it, which is a bit of a shame.

Rocket jump is hard to control and becomes more a case of jump shoot and hope than the precision platforming celeste is known for. Not saying its bad but could possibly be more deterministic than pure physics based.

Finally the character needs to freeze in place whenever the camera transitions between screens, the number of times I just flew off into a pit due the character speed.

But otherwise, a nice little stylistic game.

Cool game, rocket jump was a bit of a struggle to get a hang of and I got stuck on a specific bit, but I can feel the amount of work that went into this. Cool flow of gameplay!

like always, very stylish game, the movement felt a lil weird some times, but overall nice game, i remember you from the previous scorespace gamejam lol

oh yeah!!

It's nice. It puts the theme into multiple contexts and does well to bear Celeste as its inspiration. The double jump was finnicky and unnecessary, but otherwise, a solid game. Good job!

Nice style and idea! I struggled a bit with the rocket jump, but I still enjoyed the game! Congratulation for making this!

No insecurity problems when you set your goals for this game ! :-)

Very nice style. You put in a lot of effort. But maybe you tried to do too much ? The fire mechanic to make blocks grow was fun. But the laser to do rocket jumps felt unnecessary, given the theme of the Jam.

You definitely got the Celeste vibe going though! Well done.

the rocket jump was meant to be more useful since the plan was to make it more vertical. I really had to rush level 2 and 3 in like an hour or so so i didnt have any time to actually  make any good levels. Thanks for the feedback :D

I really like the game and the movement feels so smooth but at the same time a little bit overpowered? When rocket jumps were introduced I kinda cheesed the rest of the game and that one really long jumps was really hard for me at least. Nonetheless great game!

nice retro game, and also the double jump effects are really well done.

hope you can rate and comment on my game. I am 12 years old so all feedback is welcomed.

Did well with your comment. If you need a clear-cut structure, try:

Complimenting and highlighting the good parts. Then get into the issues, what was finnicky and where you were stuck or annoyed. Finnaly a conclusion. just briefly skim over the highlight and lowlights.

Make sure to be clear and concise

This wears its Celeste inspiration well - it really feels like a spiritual successor to the pico-8 version between the sounds and extra jump behavior.  I was pleasantly surprised to find the wall jumping here too.  My one suggestion - I wonder if you can put less reading before the gameplay, get me hooked on the gameplay, and then pull story through as that continues.  Overall, nicely done!

yea... I didnt really have much time to make the gameplay... My plan was 3 levels then a cutscene 4 cutscenes 12 levels in total.. But then exams came up and i had to cut it down to 3 levels in total...
