I liked it! It is a fun take on the theme, and though I would agree with some of the people below it could do with a bit of polish here and there, I  found the actual game really fun to play. I liked the challenge of trying to figure out how to make the ball do what I wanted it to, and then actually trying to pull it off! I didn't make it to the end, but I liked the variety between levels, there weren't just different arrangements of blocks, but different types and sizes!

Great job!

The clock runs very quickly when I tried to play, going from 100 to 0 in about a second, resulting in a game over before I can really explore the game. I'm not sure if I'm missing a step, setting or something here. Going to hold off on judging until I can figure out how to play. The second of game play I can see looks like an interesting take on breakout.

Nice spin on the genre. The fact that you can only kick the ball up vertically is interesting. At first I thought that the fact you can control when the ball moves makes it too easy, but the vertical only thrust makes later levels a challange. I like it.

- destroying more than one block before hitting the paddle again is a lot harder in this game, i'd recommend that you do a combo on the score for that

- I think your UI doesn't properly adjust to the screen size, i have no idea how to get out of the instructions window (either a button is missing or it's offscreen at my resolution)
- Other UI bugs including the game offseting my mouse for button presses
- The paddle can pass through the ball if you swing it hard enough, which makes it a lot easier to save a falling ball

Simple game with a simple concept which works. Not bad!

There are some wrinkles to iron out however. I get stuck on the instructions screen and have to restart the game to get back to the menu. And during the game itself, because there is nothing keeping the mouse inside the window, the cursor occasionally drifts outside of it and then no clicks are registered. Perhaps there is a way to stop the cursor from leaving the game when in windowed mode?
