What Is This

Hello,

I’m organizing a charity game bundle with my friends at Vietnamese-Canadian fundraising organization "Letters for Watermelons" to support two families in Palestine. I am looking for developers who may be interested in submitting their game to the bundle!

The bundle will sell for a minimum of $5 with the option to donate more.

100% of the proceeds will go to these 2 families, the total donated pool will be split evenly. I will provide receipts and proof.

If You Want To Participate

If that sounds like something you are interested in, submit the game to this jam from now until July 31st and on August 1st the Games for Watermelon bundle will go live!

We will email you before the bundle goes live so you can give final approval. It is important that every participant gives their approval or the bundle cannot go live!

* No hate speech/hate speech imagery. Bigotry will not be tolerated!

Each of the selected families have been vetted by Operation Olive Branch, a volunteer organisation committed to connecting Palestinian families to the help they need. We trust their judgement and invite you to take a look at their sheet of families.

Hala (Line 26, Perinatal Project, Operation Olive Branch)

Dr. Hala (26) and her husband Abd were disconnected for almost 2 months. Our first connection was on June 16th. She gave birth to a little girl but was very fatigued due to the lack of meat and fresh fruit. She fears her baby is going to die anytime now.

Fatima (Line 19, Perinatal Project, Operation Olive Branch) 

Fatima and Aboud (2) are in Deir al-Balah right now. Besides the fear of bombings, she and her family also have to worry about food, clean water, and now temperature, insects, and diseases from trash and decaying bodies.
