Cozy Spring Jam is a 3-day gamejam about making a cozy little game based around anything spring. The smell of grass, the vibrant colors of flowers, the sunshine, you name it!
It's all about the good vibes. This jam doesn't require a huge commitment! Even if you've only got a couple hours or just 1 day, that's perfect. Grab a cold glass of lemonade and enjoy the development process!
The general theme of the jam is anything spring-related, but there is also an additional theme, which is:
'You are the world'
Jamming is more fun together! Join the Discord to share the game making experience, get/give feedback and find a team!
- Don't feel limited by the 'videogame' part of this jam. You want to make a story, comic or paper card game? Go for it!
- No NSFW content (except mild violence, of course.)
- You can use any engine, or tools you want.
- You can use any assets you have the rights to (make sure to give proper credit though).
- You can fix bugs after the jam has ended, but please don't add any new content until 1 WEEK after the jam ends :)
- Please don't make your jam entry paid while in the 1 week feedback period. Your game should be able to be playable for free for everyone as long as the jam lasts. After that, you can do whatever you want with it!
- Please don't submit games you did not make in the period of this jam.
This jam is all about relaxing and enjoying the season together. Each game is different, and we should celebrate that diversity: go wild! There are no winners or losers.
After the jam ends, there is a 1 WEEK period in which we give each other feedback. Please don't add new content to your game during this period!
Instead of the traditional 1-5 star rating method, feedback will be given in the form of written comments. This way we can still give each other valuable feedback, just without the stress of receiving a rating at the end of the jam. Make sure to give constructive feedback, and don't be shy to say something nice :)
The previous Cozy Jam edition (Winter 2022) was a huge success, with more than 300 participants, and close to 80 finished projects!
