Great game! I really like the menu design.

Fun and polished game! It honestly has the best one-button menu i’ve seen so far.

It got me confused little bit at start. I would personally remove moon health mechanics and replace it for something more interesting but why not :) nice little game

I love it! The RNG is the real enemy, as with all classic arcade games, but it's fun to see how far you can get before the numbers betray you!

Where's everybody posting their high scores? My record score now is 207 and record time is 2:12!

Developer

Hahaha as for the score, I guess there are only 2 of you who shared them here!

As for the gameplay, I guess it's too repetitive, of course one player could do this as long as they like (as long as the random spawns favors the amount of healing pickups) but that would be too boring in the long run.

I could add an increasing difficulty in-game in long periods of time, and even add few spices in it.

Anyways, thanks for playing the game! (My highest is 197 to be honest)

Game is gorgeous. Love the UI implementing the one button flippy

Developer

Flippy is satisfying to do

Honestly really fun to play, but it's frustrating that you can lose even when playing perfectly.

It would be nice to guarantee a minimum ratio of heal items to damage items.

Developer

Oh yes that would be a nice modification, I'll add it when I work on it!

Very cool game and graphics are beautiful

Developer

Thank you for trying it out!

such a well made game. Love How even the UI incorporates the same game play element.

I just wish that you will get a gameover as soon as the moon is destroyed waiting for the earth's health to drain isn't the best.

Developer(+1)

Mmm, having the Earth be utterly and helplessly destroyed is intentional as it also weights the player's consequence with having the moon destroyed.

Still, I could do something about that, perhaps add a popup button SKIP that can be pressed with the spacebar (without the moon of course)

I like it, a lot.

Perfect sound effects, Background music, art, hell even the execution on the theme one button is perfect. Just a little bit of screen shake, and it would make it really feels like an asteroid hit the earth.(◍•ᴗ•◍)

Developer(+1)

Oohh, I haven't thought about the screen shake. Thanks for the suggestion, I'll definitely add that juice when I work on it!

Ingenious idea of balancing the HP of the moon with the planet. And love the menu selection based on where the moon is. Smart.

Developer

The controls within the menu would play its role within the gameplay, and so I thought that I could leave it as it is. It also saves some resources and time by reusing those scenes, which is also one of the reasons why I kept it!

I love the idea of the dilemma of the HP of the moon and the earth, thats a really clever game design, by the way the earth's sprite is gorgeous.

Developer

I love that part too, which is why I kept it that way (i.e., to have the game still run even after the moon was removed)

this is a great game and I love the graphics very cute I almost feel like not even posting mine I stand no chance (:

Beautiful and well polished, the game feels great. Congrats!

Is there a way to "win"?

Developer

Hello, thanks for playing the game!

I'm glad that you liked it! I was invigorated making this game due to the given constraints and the game mechanics I came up with and ended up integrating.

As for a way to win, I'm sorry but I didn't add any. It is only the in-game scores and times that can be won by competing them with their previous records I'm afraid.

Host

I eventually got to a score of 124 =)

The menu is really great, too. And it's nice to see it was made with Godot!
