Hi, for the moment I didn't receive email forward from Itch.io support. I assume you just pay with a different email. Paypal email are not always the same as the current email you use by default. You could contact me by email at questgamesoptimizer@gmail.com with the possible email address you have
Salut, j'utilise QGO depuis plus de trois mois et j'en suis très satisfait. J'aurais voulu savoir si il était possible d'ajouter un raccourci dans les Settings pour désactiver le proximity sensor et empêcher le casque de se désactiver lorsqu'on le retire.
C'est très utile pour éviter de recalibrer deux playspace en PCVR et aussi pour ceux qui ont des soucis avec leurs capteurs.
Les commandes abd sont :
Pour désactiver : shell am broadcast -a com.oculus.vrpowermanager.prox_closePour réactiver : shell am broadcast -a com.oculus.vrpowermanager.automation_disableMerci !
Salut et merci. Oui, on m'a demandé plusieurs fois d'implémenter ces commandes mais je veux rappeler qu'il faudrait absolument démarrer QGO et activer l'option pour que ca prenne effet car à chaque extinction du casque, tout ce qui a été fait avec ADB est réinitialisé.
Mais je conseille pour tout le monde la manière suivante qui ne nécessite aucun développement et aucune frustration quant à l'utilisation ;-)

Il est vrai qu'un morceau de scotch fait l'affaire, mais je me disais que c'était intéréssant de l'avoir dans QGO car comme tu l'as dis, il faut le refaire à chaque démarrage du casque, et je préfère largement le faire via QGO que de le connecter au PC à chaque fois 😊
Et vu que j'utilise QGO au quotidien comme launcher, ça seras excellent, pourquoi pas même un raccourcis comme pour le Guardian !
Je vais mettre mes cinq étoiles desuite !
J'y songe mais ya pas mieux que le scotch dans bcp de situations :-D

i had to do a factory reset and now it wont take my email not sure why i am one person using the app and it says to contact you i am very very sad because i dont want to play games without the app i paid for and have to wait on a solution ..

Pavlov Shack (full, not beta) doesn't want to launch for me as long as QGO is doing its thing in the background. It does work normally when i reboot and do NOT relaunch QGO first. But once QGO is running, all i get is a black screen and sometimes i can't even close it without rebooting.

Can you allow to set custom resolution for YouTube? I used to set a custom resolution but now it’s not available anymore
Changing resolution in Youtube don't do anything on the video streams. And Youtube opens too quickly to apply the resolution
It does a better job at antialiasing this way. I tried it before and it applied resolution correctly. Did they improve the launching speed recently or something?
You can now optimize Youtube, just wait 10min

Hello . The optimizer has the camera settings and shooting in 3D, but how to use it and which program to use to record video from two cameras ?
Hi, not sure to understand, but yes QGO can capture in 3D so it uses both camera to render the 3D. Just select the settings you want in the QGO video recording screen then click on apply button then just do a record as usual on your Quest.
Hi @anagan79. I purchased the Optimiser tool yesterday and downloaded the Other Solutiion = APK + Installer file, not the QuestGamesOptimizer_9.2.1.apk. I manged to install okay onto my Quest 3 via the Oculus Developer Hub, but the issue is I have to keep going to unknown sources on the Quest 3 and then click on the Optimiser tool to activate the app, but then as soon as I select any app and exit, or exit to home screen I need to do the process again. I thought we didn't have to keep selecting the app only on restart of the device. When installing though, the Always allow button did have a red box around it like the below but I did select it as far as I know. Is the red outline normal?
I have enabled Auto detection and selected Allow all the time on the boxes during installation.
Also, I only received an email with the download link and a verification email but nothing after that. Is that correct?
Hi, this screenshot is here to tell people to click on the correct button. During the installation you should have click 4 times on this prompt on the Always Allow button, the one with red border.
If this is installed correctly, all the next time you will reboot your Quest, you will have to open QGO and accept this prompt by clicking Always Allow. Thanks to QGO you don't need a PC anymore to enable AQB as you give QGO the permission to enable ADB by itself.
To resume : the prompt appears only 4 times during installation, then each time only once after every reboot if you clicked on Always Allow

Thank you for the reply. I think I only dragged the INSTALLATION.bat into the Oculus Developer Hub and not the ADF WIFI CONNECTION file so maybe that is the issue? Should I delete the Quest Games Optimizer from my Quest 3 device, reboot it and then drag and install the QuestGamesOptimizer_9.2.1.apk instead?
.bat files are for windows, not for the headset, so don't touch that if you have the developer hub or sidequest ;-)

I tried again and followed the instructions but still have to keep launching the optimiser when exiting another app as when I go to the apps the green HD symbols are not visible until I relaunch the app. Whenever I click on the ADB yellow logo a red sign with writing appears briefly but quickly disapears.
The steps I followed were
1) Check the transfer through Wifi option on my Quest 3
2) Connect the Quest to the Laptop via USB cable
3) Drag the whole QuestGamesOptimiser_9,2.1 zip onto the Oculus Developer Hub
4) Switch on Allow Debugging on the Oculus Developer Hub
5) Click the 3 dots on Oculus Developer Hub and press install
6) Go to my headset and press Allow all the time 4 times on for allow USB debugging box
7) Enter my email
8) Allow the Auto detect and optimise boxes.
8) Then restart the Quest 3
9) Relaunch the Quest 3 and launch the app and again select allow all the time.
It seems you did a wrong installation, please uninstall QGO, reboot and install QGO again by following click by click and step by step what I do.
And you must click on Always Allow button each time you see the prompt, not the Allow button.
EDIT : if ADB is green, all is OK
I have a question for you: If i use Profile button to launch game optimizer how can I go to Profile section ? What button do you suggest to use as shortcut to launch optimizer ?
Hi, you could type "Notifications" instead of "Profiles" to launch QGO when hovering Notifications icon, or another icon you want ;-)
Ok but can you confirm after hovering some icon with QGO launcher I can't launch original clicked icon application ?
Sometimes a quick click open the app but consider you can't open the app is the shortcut is hover this icon
Hi, i love the app! would it be possible to have a setting to turn off the guardian boundry per app? so when i start a specific game the boundry is disabled and re-enabled when i quit the specific game? thanks again!

Concerning boundary, the answer is no. Many people play games on multiple room. I personally play games in my office room or living room depending on when or what I want to do. I don't want to disable my guardian in my office room but it's okay in my living room. And don't forget, you can share your quest to your children or wife or friends, and they also could want to play outside or in your home and perhaps want or required the guardian to play. So this feature is not a good idea and I don't want accidents ;-)
questgamesoptimizer has a button to turn off the boundary, which i press everytime before i play a specific game. how is that more safe than having the boundry auto turn off when i boot a specific game?

What I meant is that this feature is okay for your personal use, but it's not suitable for all uses. For example, if I want to play Beat Saber in my room with the boundary but after want to play Beat Saver in the living room without boundary, if the boundary settings is set per applications, I will have to edit my profile to set it ON or OFF depending on my use case. But if this feature is just set globally, you don't need to edit your each games profiles, but do it globally.
And when I spoke about children or friends, if you give them your Quest, you will not want to re enable boundary for all the games they want to use by editing each game.

Haha no guy ^^ Because if I do that, everyone will ask me specific things for their personal purpose and I will have to give you on each release a modified release, spend time to develop etc ;-)
I'm working at the moment on the 9.2.2
Stride fates HD profile is unplayble, 40-50 fps with huge reprojections. Also i cant change refresh rate in any game, i set it to 90 or 120, but OVR displayed drr is 72.
Hi, I just saw that STRIDE Fates just got updated, so thank you for the report, I will update the profile. There is no reprojection on this game but what you seems to see is frame drops. On what level did it appear ?

In lobby huge drops to 40-50, in other levels more fps drops
So, I just tested. I'm on v1.11 on the official game. Here are some screenshots with my HD profile.
Could you take me screenshots with OVR Metrics Tool please ? Also, I was able to change refresh rate :-)
This means, you don't use my HD profile and that you GPU level is too low but your texture resolution is too high, also I don't see any FFR on you screenshot.
IMO, you are playing your game with another game profile, or a profile that persists because you don't have auto detection enable. Is ADB green for you, do you have auto detection enaled ? Did you receive applied profile notification ? From where do you start this game ? QGO or Meta Quest home ?

HI, just create your own profile. I just haven't optimized this game yet
But my own profile can't help me. Textures and models in the game, doesn't change.
Can you show me your profile ? What is your game ? Did your profile being correctly applied ? Did you receive the applied profile notification ? DO you use auto detection ? Is ADB icon green ?
If the textures and models are bad, this is the fault of the game's developers, not mine ;-)
This game is FNAF: Help Wanted VR.
And I mean, the textures and models are less quality. I'm thinking of refunding the game and buying this game for my computer. Because it looks a lot better there.

J'ai affaire à des gens énervés à longueur de journée alors que la majeure partie du temps, la réponse est déjà quelque part, ou alors c'est suite à une faute de manipulation de l'utilisateur. Je préfère demander d'office une discussion saine sur un ton saint, le tout dans la bienveillance. On avance toujours mieux quand les deux parties sont détendues :-)
Oui, vous pouvez essayer les manipulations que je propose. La FAQ peut être traduite en français si besoin grâce au lien tout en haut. Je ne pourrais pas vous offrir une meilleure expérience sur un compte secondaire. J'aurais aimé, et ca m'aurait fait vendre encore plus, mais c'est une impasse depuis le début. Meta/Android n'accordent pas tous les pouvoir aux comptes annexes malheureusement.
Hi, version 9.2.1 has now been installed on my Meta pro 3 V60. I have followed all the information and tried several times. As soon as I activate ADB WiFi, the viewer freezes and continues to ask me to confirm authorization up to 10 times... to exit I have to turn off and on again. I reset the viewer by reinstalling everything but the problem persists! any suggestions or solutions?

Would you consider being able to have the app terminate background apps/services?
I have noticed that I quite often have to reset my headset because I get bad performance which is fixed after a restart. I presume background apps/services are to blame.
Hi, nope, I can't really close background services like on Android smartphones, but I assume you just didn't enabled QGO "Auto detect" feature and so, the profile you have set for a game persists on your home environment. Also if you have lags ingame, this could means you did a too heavy profile. Remember that this is not a PC
QGO is not working anymore. Sidequest says everything OK but QGO says no ADB. 2 Times reinstall not helping. App dont ask me to Allow something on start.
Hi there is no problem with QGO 😉
You must follow step by step and click by click my instructions and installation video. You forgot something 😉
Now i found it. I had to activate the Wireless Connection in Sidequest again.
If everything is done correctly, you no longer need sidequest anymore to enable ADB. QGO will be able to do that by itself, so no PC needed anymore after a correct QGO installation, you will be PC free after each reboot :-)

I have a problem with the optimizer. I bought it and also bought premium. I did everything as described in the instructions. But after EVERY restart, the glasses tell me that I should allow WiFi debugging. I click on Always allow this network at the bottom but it still keeps coming up. And it doesn't matter whether I start the optimizer automatically or manually. This is really really annoying. Can someone help me here? or is that normal?

OK, I read the answer in yesterday's post. Thanks. But I don't understand why I ALWAYS click accept and then the question keeps coming up :( it's especially annoying when my children don't know what they're doing.
The tool is awesome! But that's really a small thing that really annoys me. Can this be switched off? Because I don't use WiFi transfer or anything like that anyway. I do EVERYTHING on the quest via USB, i.e. transferring data etc
Someone just wrote to me on a website that it says that you should just do a clean install and then it should be gone. Is that correct?
Hi, if you did a correct installation, the first time you setup QGO, you accepted (click on "Always Allow" button ) 4 times different kinds of prompt.
Now each time you reboot your Quest if you launch QGO, you must tell QGO to enable ADB by itself without computer. We cannot get ride of that. This is how Android operating system work. AS we don't have root access on the Quest, this cannot be automatic.
This is not a problem, just open QGO and accept the prompt (Always Allow button) and all is good until the next restart.
This is the simplest thing ever. No need for a PC on each Quest restart, just need a click when launching the app once by cycles.
